Nectar Social Raises $30M to Scale AI-Powered Social Marketing Platform
Nectar Social has closed a $30 million Series A round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund, created in partnership with Anthropic. True Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), and Kinship Ventures also participated.
Sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee founded Nectar Social in 2023 after careers at Meta, where Farah scaled Facebook Groups to over one billion users, and Misbah led product for News Feed and Creator Monetization. The company emerged from stealth in 2025.
The company is simultaneously launching Nectar Agent, an autonomous AI agent built for brand marketing teams.
Platform and Product
Nectar unifies social intelligence, community management, creator workflows, and conversational commerce into a single system. The platform holds official data partnerships with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.
Nectar Agent operates autonomously across brand conversations in real time, while brand teams retain control over voice, strategy, and approvals.
“Social media moves faster than any team can, and marketers are drowning or arriving too late,” said Farah Uraizee, CTO and co-founder, in a press release. “The only way to keep up is through AI that understands every story, video, or message and acts and flags in real time, with your brand’s judgment built in.”
Traction
Nectar currently processes more than 10 million conversations per week across pre-purchase, post-purchase, and creator workflows, a figure that has grown fivefold over the past three months, according to the release. The company reports attributing $100 million in revenue back to social and engaging over 50 million consumers to date.
Ekta Chopra, Chief Technology and AI Officer at e.l.f. Beauty, said Nectar lifted the brand’s response rates by 60% and established a direct line from social conversations to revenue.
Nectar will use the Series A proceeds to expand engineering and applied AI hiring across the Bay Area and New York, deepen platform partnerships, and extend Nectar Agent into additional brand marketing categories. Amy Wu Martin, Partner at Menlo Ventures, joins Nectar’s board.
