Publicis Creative U.S. Names Charlotte Tansill President Of Social, Creator And Earned

Publicis Creative U.S. has hired Charlotte Tansill as President of Social, Creator and Earned in a newly created role, per PRWeek.

Tansill joins from Ogilvy, where she worked for 17 years across multiple continents. She most recently served as North America president of PR, social and influence since 2023, leading integrated client offerings across the region. Her final day at Ogilvy is Wednesday.

Ogilvy split Tansill’s duties among three executives: head of PR Drew Warren, head of social Christine Cotter and head of influence Ansley Williams, according to an internal memo. Julianna Richter continues as global CEO of Ogilvy PR and chief communications officer of WPP Open X.

New Role and Responsibilities

Tansill joins Publicis Groupe’s U.S. leadership group and collaborates with teams across social, creator and earned-first creativity. The role focuses on designing integrated offerings for client leaders in media.

“Publicis has incredible data and technology capabilities and talent across the board,” Tansill said in a statement. “This opportunity collapses a lot of what exists across marketing, advertising and communications. I’m excited to be able to connect the opportunities that exist across Publicis.”

Tansill describes herself as “entrepreneurial” and says she likes building things. The new role gives her the chance to grow a social, earned and creative offering.

Career Highlights

Tansill co-led Ogilvy’s Cannes Lions-winning and Emmy-nominated Michael CeraVe Super Bowl campaign. The prank-style immersive work for L’Oréal’s CeraVe brand featured Michael Cera and draws inspiration from Reddit threads. The campaign launched before Super Bowl LVIII and won Campaign of the Year at the PRWeek US Awards 2025 and nine Lions at Cannes in 2024, including the Grand Prix in Social & Influencer.

Tansill appeared on this year’s PRWeek Power List and the 2022 PRWeek 40 Under 40 list. Last week, she entered the 2025 Advertising Hall of Achievement.

Tansill starts December 4 and reports to Carla Serrano, Publicis Groupe’s global chief strategy officer.
