CAA Hires Digital Media Pioneer Greg Goodfried For Creators Division
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has appointed digital media veteran Greg Goodfried as an agent in its Creators division, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Goodfried will represent digital creators and podcasters while developing digital strategies for CAA clients across film, music, television and sports divisions. He joins from DamGood Management, the company he launched in 2023.
Background in Digital Content
Goodfried co-created LonelyGirl15, an early internet series, and co-founded EQAL, a digital content studio that worked with consumer brands and artists including Jennifer Lopez, Bethenny Frankel and Lauren Conrad.
After selling EQAL in 2013, he joined UTA as an agent in its digital media department. In 2020, he worked with TikTok creator Charli D’Amelio before establishing DamGood Management.
“There are few people who have so consistently moved the needle through innovation across the digital and creator landscape – Greg is one of them,” Brent Weinstein, head of the CAA Creators division, said in a statement. “He has been a trusted business partner, colleague and friend for over 20 years, and I am excited to see him leverage his entrepreneurial spirit, expertise, and creativity to help drive meaningful initiatives for our clients and partners.”
Expansion of Creators Division
Jamie Guggenheim, previously a manager at DamGood Management, will also join Goodfried as an agent in CAA’s Creators division.
CAA Creators represents digital video and audio creators as brand marketers, companies and investors participate in the creator economy across film, television, publishing, consumer products and live touring.
The division’s current roster includes Amelia Dimoldenberg, Quenlin (Quen) Blackwell, Meredith Duxbury, iShowSpeed, Haley Kalil, Trisha Paytas and Liza Koshy. In the past year, CAA Creators has signed Dhar Mann, Jesser & Bucketsquad, Mythical Entertainment’s Rhett & Link, Deestroying and Airrack.
