Netflix’s Alix Earle Reality Series Gets Premiere Date, First Teaser
Netflix has released the first teaser for “Earle Meets World,” confirming a September 4 premiere date for the eight-episode unscripted series following creator Alix Earle and her family.
The streamer describes the show as an “unfiltered look” at Earle’s life, built around what Netflix calls her “blended family.” The cast includes her father, TJ, and his wife, Ashley, along with their children Izabel, Penelope and Thomas; her mother, Alisa, and Alisa’s boyfriend, Todd; her sister and fellow creator Ashtin Earle; and her longtime friend Sally. Earle’s online friend Jake Shane also appears, according to People.
“I’ve shared my life for years through my own camera, but this felt like the next phase because it’s a chance to go deeper,” Earle told Netflix’s Tudum. “It’s the same authenticity people know me for, but now with a different lens.”
The teaser previews friction alongside the family footage. In one clip highlighted by People, Earle confronts her family at dinner over their continued support for her ex-boyfriend, New York Giants wide receiver Braxton Berrios, telling them “you all are Team Braxton.” Earle and Berrios split following her appearance on “Dancing with the Stars,” where she finished second to Robert Irwin.
Earle has addressed the shift from self-shot content to a produced series before. “I’m so used to being in control of what I share and what I keep private, so having cameras around in moments I normally wouldn’t post is definitely an adjustment,” she said in a February “Get Ready With Me” video.
Where It Fits on Netflix’s Creator Slate
“Earle Meets World” arrives as Netflix continues expanding its creator programming, though the results so far have skewed toward a specific type of show. According to a report from TheWrap, the streamer’s top-performing creator titles in the first half of 2026 largely came from established YouTube creators, led by Ms. Rachel, whose series drew 69 million views across eight episodes, followed by Mark Rober’s “CrunchLabs” (36 million views) and Salish and Jordan Matter (29 million views).
The only original, exclusive creator program to appear in Netflix’s viewership report during that window was the seasonal special “Elmo and Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas,” which logged 1.5 million views.
TheWrap noted that Netflix’s creator strategy has so far leaned toward “lean-back” formats such as children’s programming and cooking shows, rather than personality-driven content. Most of the streamer’s top-performing creator titles are adapted from established YouTube channels. “Earle Meets World” is an original series built around one creator’s personal life, a format Netflix’s own data doesn’t yet show a track record for.
