Statusphere Secures $18 Million In Funding To Scale AI-Powered Micro-Influencer Platform

Statusphere has closed an $18 million Series A funding round led by Volition Capital, bringing the company’s total funding to $27 million. HearstLab, 1984 Ventures, and How Women Invest participated in the round.

The Winter Park, Florida-based company operates an AI marketing platform that connects enterprise retailers and consumer brands with micro-influencers. Brands including Parlux, Kendo Brands, Express, and LG H&H use the platform.

Statusphere automates workflows, including creator sourcing and vetting, product fulfillment, compliance, performance reporting, and rights management.

“Human-generated content is quickly becoming the most valuable driver of brand discovery, but influencer-marketing solutions weren’t built to scale for the enterprise,” said Kristen Wiley, founder and CEO of Statusphere, in a press release. “After years of testing different platforms, I built Statusphere to solve that challenge by giving brands a smarter, more automated way to activate creators at scale without sacrificing authenticity.”

The platform reports powering more than 50,000 creator collaborations in the past year and generating over half a billion engagements and video views.

Investment Focus

Statusphere plans to use the funding to expand its social SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), and reporting capabilities to improve product discovery across AI-powered search. The company also intends to build next-generation tools for creators.

“Volition invests in companies that are not just leading emerging categories, but defining them with data and proven automation,” said Larry Cheng, Managing Partner and co-founder at Volition Capital. “Statusphere is creating infrastructure that addresses a fundamental shift in how consumers discover and trust brands.”

Cheng noted the platform’s value compounds as it scales and cited the company’s growth over the past year as evidence of strong market adoption.
