Core Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Performance, Growth, and Monetization

  • Stay ahead of platform, format, and policy changes, and translate them into portfolio plays

3. Brand and Content Strategy

  • Own brand voice and brand consistency across the portfolio, setting the standards the team and clients rely on

  • Translate client IP (TV and film) into platform-native concepts, recurring series, and audience narratives

  • Ensure strategic and brand consistency across related accounts, platforms, and clients

4. Team Collaboration

  • Direct and give feedback to editors, designers, and freelancers to deliver on-brand content on time, and flag capacity or hiring needs to Program Management.

5. New Business Development and Stakeholder Alignment

  • Serve as the senior social point of contact for Enterprise clients, presenting strategy, monetization plans, and performance, and escalating risks with proposed solutions.

  • Support the Sales team as the social subject matter expert in pitches and proposals, shaping strategy and monetization projections and using platform relationships to add credibility with prospects.

6. Compliance and Rights

  • Ensure content meets platform policies and client rights and licensing terms, safeguarding client IP, monetization eligibility, and brand safety.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Contribution to new business (pitch support, proposals influenced, deals won with social involvement)

  • Execution quality and brand consistency across accounts

Qualifications

Required

  • 6 or more years in social media, including 3 or more years managing people, ideally including managing other managers or leads

  • Established, current contacts and working relationships with platform partner teams at Facebook and Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok

  • Proven track record owning and scaling ad revenue across Facebook and Snapchat, both functionally and strategically, and coaching a team to monetization targets

  • Deep, platform-specific fluency across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, including formats, algorithms, packaging, and monetization mechanics

  • Strong understanding of branding and brand voice, with the ability to define, document, and enforce brand guidelines across daily content and long-term strategy
