Glossy Launches Campus Creator Network To Connect Beauty Brands With Gen-Z University Influencers
Glossy has launched Glossy Campus, a creator network connecting beauty and wellness brands with university-based influencers to reach Gen-Z consumers.
The network’s founding roster includes students from Penn State, Arizona State, UCLA, and the University of Alabama, with a combined following of over 15 million. Fenty Beauty, Medicube, and Grande Cosmetics participated as partners in the network’s creator welcome campaign.
Glossy Campus aims to match beauty and wellness brands with creators whose followers are fellow Gen-Z students. Available activations include paid social campaigns, campus events, and input on broader marketing initiatives.
Glossy positions Campus influencers as a direct channel to Gen-Z purchasing decisions. According to the media brand, the product endorsements of these campus creators “are often the last stop before a beauty purchase.”
Brands and influencers can access partnership information through Glossy’s website.
The launch arrives as universities and agencies move to formalize infrastructure around the Creator Economy.
Syracuse University opened the first U.S. university-based Center for the Creator Economy in fall 2025 and announced in January 2026 that it will offer an academic minor in the field starting fall 2026. The center features professional production facilities and has hosted networking events in New York and Washington, D.C.
Physical spaces for creators are also expanding beyond campus. Whalar opened The Lighthouse in California in January 2025, with a Brooklyn location following in November 2025, while Billion Dollar Boy launched its FiveTwoNine space in London. Both venues offer paid memberships with production facilities, co-working spaces, and brand programming.
