Samsung Brings 140 Influencers to San Francisco to Launch Galaxy S26 Ultra Through Creator-Led Campaign

Samsung Electronics hosted 140 influencers from 35 countries at its #TeamGalaxy Connect 2026 event in San Francisco for three days, from February 25, coinciding with the company’s Galaxy Unpacked presentation to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone and Galaxy Buds4 Pro earbuds.

The event gave creators early access to both devices before broader media coverage, with influencers immediately publishing content to their audiences covering features including the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display and Photo Assist tools, and the Buds4 Pro’s Hi-Fi audio.

Gaming Livestream Draws Nearly 17 Million Views

Samsung organized content-creation tracks across three themes: camera, gaming, and sound, allowing influencers to focus on features that align with their existing audiences.

A #PlayGalaxy Cup gaming livestream featuring #TeamGalaxy influencers alongside North American e-sports organizations 100 Thieves and Offline TV recorded 16.77 million views, according to Samsung.

Individual creators pursued distinct content directions within the program. Influencer Mohamad Sofian produced visual effects content highlighting the S26 Ultra’s AI camera features, while Ry Velasco documented the Buds4 Pro’s audio quality on location across San Francisco.

Filmmaker Positions S26 Ultra as Professional Tool

Filmmaker and influencer Monique Yvonne produced a short film using the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with its trailer screened during the Galaxy Unpacked event. Speaking at an inspiration session during the summit, Yvonne described the device’s positioning for professional content production.

“Galaxy S26 Ultra transcends the traditional smartphone; it is a professional-grade tool meticulously designed for creators,” Yvonne said. “With its sophisticated AI integration and unrivaled camera performance, I expect it to enable even more creative and elevated content production.”

Samsung Frames Program Around Global Creator Engagement

The three-day summit concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing top-performing content across camera, music, and gaming categories. Winners included Sofian, Perry Kuan, Ry Velasco, and Danny Aarons, among others.

David Moon, Head of the Influencer Marketing Group within Samsung’s Mobile eXperience Business, addressed the program’s purpose at the event.

“Seeing Galaxy’s innovation through unique and diverse lenses of our global #TeamGalaxy influencers has been an incredibly rewarding experience,” Moon said. “We remain committed to bringing the everyday joys of Galaxy to fans around the world through engagement with #TeamGalaxy.”
