Captiv8 Partners With Perplexity To Embed Advanced AI Capabilities Into Influencer Marketing Platform

Captiv8, an influencer marketing platform for enterprise brands, announced a strategic partnership with Perplexity for Startups to integrate AI capabilities into its platform, transforming campaign planning, execution, and reporting.

The partnership leverages Perplexity’s Sonar models to address a key challenge identified by Captiv8: clients spending excessive time analyzing data or relying on external tools. With marketers increasingly adopting AI to improve campaign results, the integration embeds intelligence directly into Captiv8’s core workflow.

“With Perplexity, we’ve built an intelligent co-pilot into the Captiv8 experience,” Krishna Subramanian, co-founder and CEO of Captiv8, said in a press release. “It’s not just about saving time—it’s about unlocking creative potential and better results.”

New AI-Powered Features

The partnership introduces several AI-powered features using Perplexity’s Sonar models:

  • Creator Vetting & Justification: Analyzes creator data and generates brand-fit justifications
  • AI Assistant: Answers natural language questions about creator demographics and campaign performance
  • Brand Safety Scoring: Flags unsafe content and assigns risk scores using real-time web research
  • Automated Wrap Reports: Compiles post-campaign summaries with metrics and insights

All tools are built directly into Captiv8’s interface, eliminating the need to export data or use external platforms. Perplexity’s secure integration includes zero-day retention for data privacy.

Early adopters of AI integration report faster planning cycles, better targeting, and increased ROI. Tasks that previously took days now take minutes, with AI helping teams identify trends and optimize content in real time.

“Captiv8 is setting a new standard for AI in marketing workflows,” Taz Patel, Head of Advertising at Perplexity, said in the press release. “By embedding our technology directly into campaign execution, we’re helping brands make smarter, faster decisions that translate into more dollars flowing to creators.”

Market Impact

This partnership comes as Perplexity AI gains momentum in the AI sector. The company, which started 2024 with a $500 million valuation, has reportedly grown to a $9 billion valuation with nearly $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Recent reports indicate that Perplexity is in talks to raise between $500 million and $1 billion in funding at a $18 billion post-money valuation.

Perplexity has been expanding its partnerships, recently announcing integration with Motorola smartphones to bring its AI search capabilities directly to mobile devices. The company competes with Google and Microsoft-backed OpenAI in the AI search engine market.

For Captiv8, which was recognized as “Best Influencer Marketing Company” in the 2024 MarTech Breakthrough Awards, this partnership builds on its full-funnel approach to influencer marketing. The company launched Captiv8 Storefronts in April 2025, enabling brands to leverage creator-powered storefronts without technical integrations.
