VidCon has announced the second annual class of its Hall of Fame, naming creator and filmmaker Markiplier, media personality Philip DeFranco, beauty entrepreneur Michelle Phan, and fitness creator Cassey Ho (Blogilates) as 2026 inductees.
The ceremony will take place during the event’s Opening Night Celebration on June 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center, where VidCon celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The induction ceremony is open to all badge holders. Each honoree will receive a customized Hall of Fame jersey and an award, with jerseys on display across the Expo Hall floor from Thursday through Saturday.
The 2026 Inductee Class
VidCon introduced a Hall of Fame Selection Committee this year to determine the inductee class, drawing on industry insiders, digital media experts, past inductees, and the VidCon Advisory Board. The committee handled nominations and voting.
Markiplier’s feature filmmaking debut, “Iron Lung,” grossed over $50 million worldwide following its January 30 theatrical release and will debut exclusively on YouTube on May 31. Philip DeFranco launched his YouTube channel in 2006 and currently hosts three shows, including his flagship daily news program, “The Philip DeFranco Show,” which has accumulated billions of views.
Michelle Phan launched her YouTube channel in 2007, accumulating over 1 billion views and 14 million followers across platforms, and co-founded beauty subscription company Ipsy. Cassey Ho has grown her audience to over 19 million followers, with her videos totaling more than 6 billion views; she also serves as CEO and Head Designer of POPFLEX.
“We launched the VidCon Hall of Fame to honor the legends who built the foundation of the Creator Economy, and we are thrilled to continue that tradition in 2026,” said Sarah Tortoreti, VP of VidCon. “With the input of our new VidCon Hall of Fame Selection Committee, we’ve put together a stellar 2026 inductee class.”
The Hall of Fame ceremony is one of several activations scheduled for this year’s event, which also includes the Brand Match Accelerator networking program, a Live Podcast Studio, and the inaugural GorillaCon.
Tickets are on sale now at vidcon.com, with Single-Day and Family Bundle options becoming available on May 26.
