Podscribe Integrates Nielsen DMA Data To Enhance Podcast Ad Targeting, Audience Reporting

Podscribe has licensed Nielsen‘s Designated Market Area data to strengthen its podcast and audio advertising measurement capabilities. The independent verification platform is incorporating Nielsen’s proprietary information spanning 210 media markets across the U.S. into its reporting system, the companies announced in a joint press release.

The integration enables more precise geographic audience targeting and standardized location-based analytics for both buyers and sellers in the digital audio space.

“Integrating Nielsen DMA data is a significant step forward for Podscribe and our commitment to delivering the most accurate and reliable analytics to our users,” said Pete Birsinger, CEO and founder of Podscribe. “This partnership ensures that our buyers and sellers have access to standardized and trusted geographic market definitions.”

The collaboration allows Podscribe users to access localized ad targeting by media market, support data segmentation by geographic region, and standardize location-based audience mapping.

Cross-Platform Measurement Expansion

This development builds on Podscribe’s recent platform enhancements, including the introduction of Spotify Video performance modeling and flexible reporting controls announced in May. Those features expanded the platform’s cross-platform analytics with a unified dashboard that consolidates reporting across RSS, Spotify Video, YouTube, and Rumble.

“Using the most up-to-date Nielsen local market data will allow for consistent evaluation and comparability across all media platforms, with effective and efficient results,” said Rich Tunkel, Nielsen’s Managing Audio Director.

The Nielsen integration reinforces Podscribe’s focus on providing standardization across digital audio impressions, supporting the company’s mission to enhance transparency in the audio advertising ecosystem.
