Music Artist-Influencer Platform VoxFeed Opens Door To Potential Buyers

VoxFeed, a specialized influencer-marketing platform focused on music industry campaigns, is seeking acquisition as its lead investor Agave Lab Venture’s fund reaches maturity.

Agave Lab Ventures aims to complete the sale by the end of this year, as its current fund’s 10-year deadline is approaching, according to MusicAlly.

The company currently maintains a network of 50,000 creators, predominantly based in Mexico, the U.S. Latino market, and broader Latin America. Andy Kieffer, Agave Lab Ventures general partner and VoxFeed’s acting CEO, tells MusicAlly that the platform has executed campaigns for half of the top 20 streaming artists, including Taylor Swift, Drake, The Weeknd, and Billie Eilish.

VoxFeed’s operations extend to emerging talent as well. A case study featuring Mexican DIY artist Renee shows a $2,500 TikTok campaign that generated 85 paid videos, which reportedly sparked 449,000 organic videos and ultimately led to over 40 million Spotify streams.

A recent Luminate study showed that TikTok users spend 48% more time streaming music than average U.S. music listeners and are 68% more likely to subscribe to paid music streaming services. Additionally, 84% of songs entering the Billboard Global 200 in 2024 achieved viral status on TikTok before charting, with an additional 12% going viral simultaneously with or after charting.

Revenue Fluctuations and Potential Acquisition Targets

VoxFeed’s revenue grew from $137,000 in 2021 to $326,000 in 2022, reaching $414,000 in 2023. However, 2024 saw a significant decrease to $116,000.

Kieffer identifies music industry companies such as labels and talent agencies as potential acquirers. He points to VoxFeed’s ability to “run campaigns against hundreds or thousands of micro creators in parallel” to “spark or amplify viral trends” for new releases, concert promotion, or catalog revival.

The platform’s Latin American focus represents a strategic advantage, with creator profiles growing at approximately 2,000 per quarter. VoxFeed has facilitated campaigns for Latin artists including J Balvin, Marc Anthony, Karol G, and Luis Fonsi, promoting singles, albums, and merchandise. Kieffer notes that the company even assisted with selling out Taylor Swift’s Mexico tour dates.
