Manifest Financial, Mastercard Launch Business Debit Card for Creator Entrepreneurs

Manifest Financial and Mastercard have launched the Manifest Business Debit Mastercard, a card and integrated account platform built for creator-run businesses managing irregular payouts, multiple revenue streams, and global audiences.

The card bundles four Mastercard benefit programs into Manifest’s platform:

  • Mastercard Easy Savings: Automated, card-linked merchant offers.
  • Mastercard Business Builder: Growth tools and educational resources for entrepreneurs.
  • Fraud protection: AI-powered fraud monitoring, Mastercard ID Theft Protection and Zero Liability Protection.
  • Mastercard Priceless Experiences: Access to dining, travel and entertainment experiences.

Manifest’s platform separately adds faster payouts, including instant options, embedded payment acceptance, cross-border money movement, and tools for invoicing, expense tracking and taxes across multiple income streams. MVB Bank Inc., a member of the FDIC, issues the card under a license from Mastercard International.

“Creators are building some of today’s most dynamic small businesses,” said Ginger Siegel, North America Small and Medium Business Lead at Mastercard, in a press release. “They’re managing customers, cash flow, taxes, global audiences and multiple income streams often without tools designed for how they work.”

“Creators are the next founders,” said Michael Cavallaro, Manifest’s co-founder and CEO. “They are building brands, running businesses and driving real economic activity. The next phase of the creator economy will be defined by financial stability, operational efficiency and trusted and embedded commerce infrastructure. Together with Mastercard, we’re giving creators the tools they need to grow with confidence.”

The launch comes as Mastercard, Visa and fintech companies compete to provide financial infrastructure for creators who increasingly operate like small businesses. Mastercard introduced its own Business Builder debit and credit cards for creators in February 2025. Visa partnered with TikTok in April to launch a UK debit card and business account for TikTok LIVE streamers, addressing the gap between when gifting-based payouts land and when creators can spend them. Fintechs including Willa, Collective, Tipalti and Lumanu compete in the same segment.

The opportunity these products are targeting is reflected in creator banking behavior. Visa’s research found that across separate UK and global surveys, 86% of creator-run businesses reported being self-funded, 62% ran business income through personal bank accounts, and just 19% used a dedicated business card despite 68% identifying as small-business owners.

Manifest launched publicly in April 2025 and has since built what it calls a financial orchestration layer spanning music, content, NIL, talent representation and creative agencies. The company said it plans to keep expanding its cross-border payment capabilities as creator income increasingly draws from international audiences.
