Facebook Creator Studio Opens to Creators After Beta Test Showing Follower and Earnings Gains
Facebook has opened its rebuilt Creator Studio app to all creators using iOS in the U.S. and Canada, following a limited beta test the company says produced measurable gains for participating creators. Meta first previewed the app in June as an AI-powered companion tool for Facebook creators, then invited a small group to test it before the August 12 wider release.
Meta shared beta feedback from four creators: Mymanabites, a food and wellness creator; Becky Bee, who makes marriage and parenting content; Michael Tushouse, who runs family and STEM-focused content as “The Tus House”; and Mad Maxy, a decade-old motorcycle content brand with more than five million followers.
Two of the four attributed measurable gains to the app’s recommendation features. Mymanabites, who says she grew from 400 to more than 1.1 million followers on Facebook over two years, said the app’s “Creators to Learn From” feature surfaced a video that had performed well in her niche; she tried the same format and said it brought in “82% of my audience from non-followers” and added 4,000 followers from that single video. Tushouse said the app’s AI assistant identified a DIY games angle in his content that was working, and that doubling down on it helped him “up my earnings by 144% in the first 7 days” of following the recommendation.

The app also includes a comment-management tool that surfaces select comments and drafts replies in a creator’s voice, which creators can edit or approve before publishing. Mad Maxy, who said he had “never been big on responding to comments before,” called the tool a “HUGE, huge time-saver” and said it added “a whole new level of engagement” to his account. Becky Bee said the effect carried beyond the comments themselves: after she began responding to more comments on her Reels, she said the increased engagement extended to her text posts as well, describing the shift as “the conversations continue.”

The Creator Studio app is a distinct product from the original Facebook Creator Studio, a Page-management platform Meta discontinued in January 2023 in favor of Meta Business Suite. The new version does not include the older tool’s Page-management or scheduling functions.
Meta is also splitting its existing Professional Dashboard, currently used by both creators and businesses, into separate Creator and Business Dashboard experiences, and has added a content calendar, bulk video upload, and expanded analytics to its web experience.
