Meta Relaunches Facebook Creator Studio as AI-Powered App

Meta is reintroducing Facebook Creator Studio as a standalone AI-powered application designed to help creators grow on the platform and manage audience engagement.

According to the company’s announcement, the new app offers creators a dedicated workspace separate from the main Facebook application, built around artificial intelligence at its core. Creator Studio will learn a creator’s voice, audience, and goals from the first time they open it, according to Meta. The company’s newly launched creator assistant is fully integrated throughout the app, giving users the ability to ask questions about their content, brainstorm ideas, and receive personalized guidance on reach, engagement, and earnings.

The app will surface daily priorities when users open it, including recent post performance, progress toward goals, and comments requiring a response. An AI-powered comment tool identifies high-priority comments and drafts replies in the creator’s own voice. Creators can review and edit those drafts before posting.

Meta said it is developing the app with a small community of creators ahead of a broader launch and has opened a waitlist for early access.

Dashboard Overhaul

In parallel, Meta is dividing its Professional Dashboard inside the Facebook app into two distinct products: Creator Dashboard and Business Dashboard.

The existing Professional Dashboard currently serves both creators and businesses through a single interface. Creator Dashboard will house the complete creator toolset and the most detailed analytics, while Business Dashboard will serve business users separately. Meta plans to roll out the change over the next couple of months.

Meta is also consolidating creator tools previously housed in Meta Business Suite into its desktop web experience. Recent additions include a content calendar for scheduling, bulk video upload, and advanced insights.

Platform and Creator Economy Context

The Creator Studio relaunch comes as Meta works to expand creator access across its advertising infrastructure. At Cannes Lions 2026, the company announced plans to add Facebook creators to Creator Marketplace for the first time, joining more than five million Instagram creators already discoverable on the platform. Meta plans to make both accessible through a unified destination called Meta Creator Marketing Hub, set to launch later this year.

According to PartnerCentric research, 86% of Americans use Facebook, including 90% of Gen Z and 87% of Boomers, with users averaging two hours of daily time on the platform. Meta’s internal data, cited in February, found that Partnership Ads produced a 19% lower cost per acquisition and a 13% higher click-through rate than standard campaigns.
