LTK Unifies AI Search, Creator Discovery, and Chatbot in New Search Tab
Creator commerce platform LTK has launched a new “Search” tab in its app that unifies interest-based browsing, AI-generated search overviews, and its LTK AI conversational chatbot into a single discovery experience.
According to the company’s announcement, the redesign consolidates three previously separate ways users find products: browsing personalized content by interest category across fashion, beauty, home, wellness and lifestyle; AI-generated overviews that surface creator content and product matches for a given search term; and LTK AI, a conversational tool that responds to open-ended requests such as outfit ideas or fitness routines. LTK said search is already the second most-used function in its app, and the new tab is designed to move users between the three modes without switching screens.
The system draws on LTK’s commerce intelligence graph, built from 15 years of creator commerce activity and more than 100 billion signals spanning creators, consumers, products, brands and transactions, combined with content from more than 500,000 vetted creators, per the announcement.
LTK AI itself is not new. In February, LTK introduced the chatbot as a separate feature, pulling posts, outfits, routines, and reviews from verified creators to answer contextual shopping questions. At the time, LTK cited internal data showing creator trust had risen 21% year-over-year and that 86% of Gen Z relied on creator recommendations to drive purchases. The latest update folds that chatbot into the broader Search tab rather than treating it as a separate destination.
LTK reported early engagement gains since the “Search” experience went live earlier this month: product click-outs from search to retailer websites are up 84%, creator-profile views originating from search have increased nearly 50%, and daily users of LTK AI have grown 89% month over month.
The launch also lands alongside broader industry data on how consumers want AI and creator content to intersect. A September IAB study, based on a survey of 2,200 consumers across the U.S., the UK, Australia, Mexico and India, found that 56% of consumers prefer AI shopping recommendations that incorporate creator or influencer reviews, rising to 65% among Gen Z and Millennials. The same study found 65% of consumers say credible creator reviews increase their confidence in an AI shopping recommendation, and that everyday consumers sharing real experiences were the most trusted creator type, ranked above professional reviewers, lifestyle influencers and celebrities.
LTK, founded in 2011 by Amber Venz Box and Baxter Box, says it powers more than $6 billion in annual retail sales, supports over 60,000 creator-brand collaborations annually, and works with more than 8,000 retailers.
