Creator Television to Launch Pickleball Tour at VidCon Anaheim, Testing Live Event-to-Streaming Format

Creator Television, the creator-led streaming network owned by Sabio Holdings, plans to launch a new live competition format, the Creator Pickleball Tour, at VidCon Anaheim from June 25-27 in partnership with Viewws.

The three-day activation will take place in front of more than 55,000 attendees and over 250 creators, according to the company’s announcement. The event will include a 16-player creator tournament on its opening day, with the produced competition scheduled to premiere later on Creator TV’s streaming distribution platforms.

“It creates a format that begins with in-person participation and continues through streaming, allowing audiences to engage with creators both on-site and on screen,” said Joe Ochoa, co-founder and General Manager of Creator Television.

Building on FAST and AVOD Expansion

The live event initiative follows Creator TV’s recent expansion across ad-supported streaming channels. The network has launched both free ad-supported television (FAST) channels and on-demand (AVOD) offerings across platforms, including Plex and Xumo Play, and is extending availability to connected TV, desktop, and mobile environments.

“Our FAST channel is the window into our world, and if a viewer wants to binge a specific creator, they can do that with AVOD,” Ochoa said in a prior announcement.

The company has also secured distribution across Amazon Fire TV Channels, Sling Freestream, and Anoki LiveTVx as it builds reach within the ad-supported streaming ecosystem.

Creator Content and Audience Growth

Creator Television has expanded its programming slate with creators including Lenarr Young, Daphnique Springs, and Julie Nolke, alongside existing talent such as Jenny Lorenzo. According to company data, the network reported a 95% increase in total minutes viewed and a 111% increase in total sessions from the first to the second quarter of 2025, with overall viewership rising 300% across platforms.

The network says its distribution footprint now reaches more than 65 million viewers worldwide.

The Creator Pickleball Tour introduces a format that combines live participation, creator content, and streaming distribution as Creator TV continues to develop programming for ad-supported television environments.
