Clio Creators Names Inaugural Awards Jury, Taps Dhar Mann & Hannah Stocking to Lead Creative Council

Clio Creators, the Creator Economy awards program launched by the Clios in partnership with YouTube and Influential, has announced the jury for its first awards cycle, along with a creative council led by Dhar Mann, Haley Kalil, Hannah Stocking, Adam Waheed and Cole Walliser. The five will advise on the program as it develops and appear on stage at the ceremony.

The jury draws from three groups: working creators, brand executives overseeing influencer and creator marketing, and agency leaders. Creator jurors include Josh Scherer of Mythical Kitchen and Shira Lazar, alongside brand-side representatives such as Marisa Hammonds, TikTok’s Global Head of Creator Marketing and Community, and Monica Lambert, Head of Influencer and Talent at Amazon Studios and Prime Video. Agency jurors include Rahul Titus, Publicis Groupe’s Global Influencer Lead, and Kenny Gold, Edelman’s Global Chief Creator Officer.

Jurors will convene in October to evaluate entries for Grand, Gold, Silver and Bronze Clio Creator Awards, judging campaigns and original content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms. Clio has said judging criteria rest on the creativity and craft of an entry rather than its view count, reach, or popularity.

“As the creator economy continues to redefine how brands engage audiences and culture, it was essential that the inaugural Clio Creator Awards jury reflect the leaders driving that transformation,” said Nicole Purcell, CEO of the Clios, in a statement. “By bringing together accomplished creators alongside innovators from brands and agencies, we’re establishing a new standard for recognizing the most creative and impactful work across the creator economy.”

Clio Creators launched in March as one of six specialized Clio verticals, built around two submission tracks: a Brand track for companies using creator talent and platform-native strategy, and a Creator track for work that builds an individual’s persona or content. Influential, acquired by Publicis Groupe in July 2024, is helping identify creators and surface entries for jury consideration, while YouTube has framed its involvement around advertiser outcomes tied to creator-driven campaigns.

Entries remain open until August 22. Winners will be announced on November 18 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with tickets available through Ticketmaster starting this fall and the ceremony streaming live on YouTube.
