Jack Doherty Says Crypto Casino Contract Bars Him From Posting for Six Months
Jack Doherty, a YouTuber and Kick streamer with 15 million subscribers, says a contract he signed with crypto casino Shuffle prohibits him from posting on social media for six months, a restriction the company’s founder confirmed is real.
Doherty posted the claim on X on October 10. “Hey guys, I think I actually ****** up,” he wrote. “I recently signed a contract with a casino called Shuffle.com, but I didn’t read the contract fully… One of the terms is that I’m not allowed to post online anymore, which I thought was a joke, but now they’re enforcing it. Working with my lawyer to try and fix this. This might be my last post for a while; I’ll try and be back soon.”
Shuffle founder Noah Dummett replied to the post with “Good riddance,” then followed up in a separate post confirming the terms. “For everyone asking, yes it’s real, six-month term, money well spent to get this mf off the internet,” he wrote. “His lawyers are now pressing us hard to have this contract scrapped, but we will stay strong.”
The exchange follows an earlier public spat between Doherty and the company. On September 27, Doherty posted, “Should I go live on Kick and start trading meme coins?” Shuffle.com’s X account responded, “At this point we will pay you to shut the **** up.”
Doherty has faced repeated legal trouble in the past year. He was arrested in November 2025 after allegedly refusing police instructions to leave a roadway while filming content, with charges including amphetamine possession, marijuana possession, and resisting an officer without violence. Last month, he was arrested again following an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery before being released on bond. The allegations have not been proven in court.
