Dhar Mann Expands Into Podcasting With Weekly Celebrity Interview Series ‘What Happens Next’

Dhar Mann Studios announced the launch of its first original podcast, “What Happens Next,” set to premiere on May 18 on YouTube and major podcast platforms.

Hosted by Dhar Mann, the weekly series features one-on-one conversations with celebrities, creators, and public figures focused on the experiences and setbacks that shape personal identity. Initial guests include Jameela Jamil, Anderson .Paak, Derek Hough, Allyson Felix, Jordan Matter, and Roy Wood Jr. New episodes publish each Monday.

The podcast builds on Mann’s existing social-first series “Life in 60 Seconds,” which has featured guests including Kerry Washington and Mel Robbins, and averages 3 million views per episode across platforms, according to the announcement.

“I started creating videos in 2018 to share my experiences of growth and overcoming challenges, hoping to make even one person feel seen and inspired,” Mann said in a statement. “This podcast lets me do that in a different medium, through deeper conversations about the defining moments in people’s lives.”

Studio71 Partnership Expands

The podcast launch extends Dhar Mann Studios’ existing relationship with Studio71, a global media company that produces and distributes content across video platforms. Studio71 signed a deal in 2024 to distribute, market, and sell advertising across Mann’s content network.

Under the expanded arrangement, Studio71 will oversee audio and video distribution, ad sales and brand partnerships, and multi-platform promotional support for “What Happens Next.”

“We’ve seen firsthand the power of Dhar’s storytelling and the loyalty of his audience,” said Adam Boorstin, co-CEO of Studio71. “Podcasting is a natural evolution of our partnership, and we’re excited to leverage Studio71’s global distribution and ad sales infrastructure to scale the series across platforms.”

Studio71 reports that its publisher network generates over 10 billion monthly views across YouTube, connected TVs, and social media platforms.

Studio Scale

Dhar Mann Studios reports 296 million views per week across its content library, which has accumulated more than 60 billion lifetime views. Mann holds more than 160 million followers across platforms and was named Forbes’ #2 Top Creator of 2025.

The podcast announcement follows a multi-year deal with Fox Entertainment to produce 40 vertical video titles and a partnership with Samsung TV Plus to distribute original content to connected TV audiences.
