Dhar Mann To Bring Original Series To Samsung TV Plus In First-Ever Content Deal

Samsung TV Plus has announced its first original content deal with popular creator Dhar Mann, establishing a partnership that will bring 13 exclusive episodes to the free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platform. The agreement positions Dhar Mann’s family-friendly, values-driven storytelling directly on Samsung’s streaming service.

Known for his “uplifting, family-friendly dramas tackling universal human truths,” Mann has built a global audience with content that regularly generates over 300 million monthly views on YouTube. His production team, which rivals top TV broadcasters, currently produces seven new videos weekly that average 5-10 million views each.

“This is a major milestone for us as storytellers and producers,” Mann said in a press release. “Creating original episodes for Samsung TV Plus allows us to expand the reach of our mission, and bring purposeful, uplifting stories directly into even more people’s homes.”

Broader Creator Strategy

The Dhar Mann partnership is part of Samsung TV Plus’s broader initiative to partner with leading independent creators. The platform is also launching exclusive channels featuring content from Mark Rober, Michelle Khare, Smosh, The Try Guys, Epic Gardening, The Sorry Girls, and Donut Media.

Unlike these other creator collaborations, which primarily showcase existing videos, Samsung is directly supporting the production of Mann’s original scripted series.

“Samsung TV Plus is building a home for today’s top Creators on FAST, bringing their content into a premium, curated environment designed for the biggest screen in the home,” stated Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus.

Expansion into Original Content

The partnership signals Samsung TV Plus’s strategic push toward creator-led original programming. Following previous collaborations with established entertainment figures like Conan O’Brien and David Letterman, the platform is now expanding into purpose-built original episodes with Mann.

The dedicated Dhar Mann TV channel will premiere later this year, exclusively on Samsung TV Plus. The service is available across Samsung’s TV, Galaxy, Smart Monitor, and Family Hub lineups, including the Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, and The Frame devices.
