Blink49 Creator Studios has hired Omar Gharaibeh as Vice President of Creator Partnerships, per Deadline.

Gharaibeh, who most recently served as Senior Director at pocket.watch, will be based in Los Angeles and report to Mickey Meyer, President of Blink49’s Global Creator Studios.

In his new role, Gharaibeh will work to expand the Blink49 creator ecosystem, cultivate creator partnerships, identify business opportunities, and support creators in developing intellectual property across platforms.

At pocket.watch, Gharaibeh worked on initiatives including a partnership with Disney+. He previously held roles at The Unreasonable, Blavity, and Group Nine Media, focused on creator-facing business development, and earlier at Disney, JASH, and Maker Studios. He has also worked with talent including Snoop Dogg, Bobby Lee, and Sarah Silverman.

Expanding Blink49’s Creator Division

Blink49 Creator Studios launched earlier this year to develop, finance, produce, and distribute creator-led content and intellectual property across scripted, unscripted, digital, and emerging platforms. Gharaibeh’s appointment follows Meyer’s hiring as president of the division in April.

Blink49 Studios, founded in 2021 by John Morayniss and backed by Fifth Season and Bell Media, is headquartered in Toronto with offices in Los Angeles, Vancouver, and New York.
