Influencer Emma Chamberlain Boosts Coffee Brand With First Cafe In Los Angeles

Social media influencer Emma Chamberlain has expanded her coffee brand’s retail presence by opening her first permanent cafe at Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles on January 30.

Chamberlain Coffee launched in 2019 as a direct-to-consumer mail-order business following a viral YouTube video demonstrating Chamberlain’s coffee-making process.

The brand began with single-serving cold brew products and now distributes whole coffee beans, matcha, canned lattes, cold brew, and coffee accessories through retailers including Gelson’s and Whole Foods.

Forbes reported that the brand generated an estimated $20 million in revenue in 2023 with 1,000 storefronts. That number exceeded 12,000 in 2024. Recent expansions include entry into Circle K stores across Canada and product collaborations with other celebrity-founded brands, such as Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila.

Menu and Offerings

According to Eater LA, the new location serves traditional coffee drinks, including cold brews, lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, espresso, mocha, and drip coffee. The menu features a signature drink called “Emma’s Way,” an espresso preparation with almond milk and dairy-free creamer. Additional specialty beverages include a peanut butter mocha and a salted pistachio mocha.

The cafe offers customization options with vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, strawberry, and lavender syrups. The tea menu includes matcha latte, blue matcha latte with butterfly pea powder, and chai latte, available with cream top.

Food offerings comprise pastries such as chocolate croissants, miso kouign amann, matcha cake, olive oil cake, and banana sesame bread. The location also sells retail products, including coffee beans, canned lattes, and branded merchandise.

“This space is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a reflection of everything we’ve built over the years, bringing our love for organic, specialty-grade coffee to life in a way that’s interactive, shareable, and designed to create a real community,” Jeumana Jaber, CMO at Chamberlain Coffee, wrote on LinkedIn.

The Westfield Century City Mall location joins food and beverage tenants Eataly, Haidilao, and Din Tai Fung. The mall’s dining portfolio is set to expand in 2025 with the addition of Super Peach from the Momofuku group, Katsuya, and Casa Dani.

While Chamberlain Coffee has previously operated temporary pop-up locations in partnership with brands like Warby Parker, this represents the company’s first permanent retail establishment.
