Kai Cenat’s Streamer University Season 2 Confirmed, Search for New Participants Has Begun
Content group AMP announced that Streamer University will return for a second season, posting a six-second teaser on X confirming that the program is searching for new students.

Streamer University is a multi-day event for aspiring streamers and content creators, hosted by Twitch creator Kai Cenat. Participants attend workshops covering skills such as video editing, on-camera performance, brand management, and technical setup, and compete in daily challenges broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube. The event divides participants into teams led by experienced creator mentors.
The announcement included no application dates, event schedule, or participant roster.
Season 1 Performance
The inaugural season launched on May 22, 2025, at the University of Akron in Ohio. Over 1 million people applied for spots in the program, and approximately 120 creators were selected to attend the three-day event. Seventeen professors participated, including DDG, Duke Dennis, Agent00, India Love, and ExtraEmily, with DDG receiving the event’s MVP recognition.
According to Streams Charts data, live broadcasts generated more than 26 million hours watched, with peak concurrent viewership reaching 731,000 viewers. Twitch created a dedicated streaming category for Streamer University creators during the event. Creator rayasianboy streamed for 71 hours over the weekend.
Creators DDG, 2xRaKai, and Wendy Ortiz led the field in unique viewership. A closing awards ceremony recognized standout participants, including Caiuwus (Heart of the Community) and ExtraEmily (Engagement Guru).
Season 2 Announcement
Kai Cenat first publicly confirmed a second season during his “Mafiathon 3” livestream in September 2025. During a segment with creator Tylil James, he stated that the 2026 edition would surpass the first in scale. Cenat paused regular broadcasting in October 2025. AMP’s announcement represents the first formal update on the project since those comments.
No further details regarding Season 2’s location, format, faculty roster, application process, or participant count have been announced.
