Bedford Launches Creator Economy Program Advised by Top YouTube Creators

Bedford has launched a Creator Economy training program for executives, entrepreneurs, and corporate teams, with several prominent YouTube creators joining its advisory board.

The Los Angeles-based institution offers a six-week program designed to help professionals turn expertise into published content, audience development, and visible professional credibility. Bedford’s inaugural cohort begins July 20, 2026, with annual tuition priced at $3,750.

The launch responds to content creation being increasingly framed as a career and business competency for professionals outside traditional media or influencer roles. Bedford says its program is intended for individuals and organizations that want to communicate expertise more effectively, build credibility, and create new professional opportunities through digital platforms.

Content Creation as a Professional Skill

Bedford’s curriculum is built around applied practice. Each week, participants move through a cycle of ideation, production, publication, and content refinement. The program includes AI-enabled workflows, one-on-one coaching, peer review, and feedback from creators in residence.

Participants complete the six-week program with a personalized content strategy, execution plan, and tooling. Bedford says learning continues through Bedford Studio, which gives students ongoing access to support, events, tools, workflows, and programming for platforms, content formats, and AI tools.

“Content is the new resume, portfolio, and professional signal,” said Ben Newton, co-founder and CEO of Bedford. “In today’s AI-driven creator-focused economy, expertise alone is not sufficient. Entrepreneurs, academics, and executives need to develop themselves as creators or influencers and share their knowledge on digital platforms to build trust, open doors, and grow.”

Newton co-founded Bedford with consumer growth equity firm Strand Equity. Heights LLC, a multi-family office founded by Alexandre Cohen, serves as the company’s lead investor.

YouTube Creators Join Advisory Board

Bedford’s launch advisory board includes several prominent YouTube and Creator Economy figures. Jordan Matter, a bestselling author and visual storyteller whose photography and family entertainment content reaches tens of millions on YouTube, serves as a founding advisor alongside Hudson Matter, founder of Next Wave Media, a consulting firm for brands and celebrities seeking YouTube growth.

Other creator-focused advisors include Samir Chaudry, creator and co-founder of Colin and Samir, and Michelle Khare, host and creator of “Challenge Accepted.”

The broader advisory board spans business, education, AI, and media. Members include Adam Grant, organizational psychologist and bestselling author; Jay Hunter, CEO of creator-led consumer brand Sprinter; Katherine Rundell, a veteran creator executive with experience at a16z, beehiiv, and Twitter; Rich Paul, entrepreneur and founder of Klutch Sports Group; Sunil Gupta, Harvard Business School professor; and Will Houghteling, Director of AI Product at Google.
