Twitch Rolls Out Business Manager Access For Analytics, Sponsorship Management

Twitch has introduced a new Business Manager role that allows designated collaborators to access analytics and sponsorship workflows within a creator’s dashboard while maintaining limits on financial controls. The feature adds structured permissions to the platform’s Creator Dashboard to support livestreamers operating with teams, brand partnerships, and performance tracking.

Under the update, Business Managers can view Analytics Overview, Stream Summary, Earnings Analytics, and the Sponsorships Portal, including a creator’s professional profile. Twitch said the role cannot access the Revenue or Payouts sections or modify payout methods.

For creators enrolled in Twitch’s Sponsorship Program, Business Managers can accept or decline certain campaign offers and receive notifications when new opportunities become available. Some high-value deals still require direct creator approval.

“As the creator economy evolves, creators need tools that grow with them – not ones that pull them away from what they love to do,” said Mike Minton, Chief Product Officer at Twitch. “The Business Manager role is about giving streamers more control and flexibility as they scale, while making it easier to collaborate with trusted partners.”

Aligning With Industry Permission Models

The rollout places Twitch alongside other platforms that provide structured access to creator assets. TikTok’s Business Center, for example, allows admins and standard members to work on assigned accounts and assets using role-based permissions.

Meta has also expanded team-based management through Business Suite and Business Portfolio tools, which allow businesses to grant partners access to analytics, publishing workflows, and account assets without sharing login credentials.

These systems centralize operations while separating financial controls from day-to-day management, a model that Twitch appears to mirror with restricted payout access.

Expanding Sponsorship Infrastructure

The Business Manager role builds on Twitch’s recent updates to its Sponsorships Portal, which introduced creator profiles and dashboard-based brand opportunities to streamline partnerships.

According to Twitch, the changes add new layers of operational support inside the Creator Dashboard, giving collaborators visibility into performance data and campaign workflows while leaving account ownership and payment controls with creators.
