Twitch Launches Month-Long Bloxfest Event With $300K Prize Pool, Exclusive Roblox Rewards

Twitch has announced Bloxfest, a month-long event running February 5-27, featuring exclusive in-game rewards for viewers and a $300,000 prize pool for streamers competing in Roblox content. The platform will offer daily challenges and increased exposure for Roblox streamers throughout the event period.

Viewer Rewards and Engagement Features

The event offers multiple reward tiers for viewers watching Roblox streams. Twitch and Roblox developers collaborated on limited-time in-game items available only during Bloxfest. Viewers who subscribe to any channel streaming Roblox during the event will earn an exclusive chat badge, with additional viewership badges available on specific days throughout the month.

Twitch also introduced a new global emote, RobloxCheer, for use across the platform during the event. The company will announce reward availability and timing through its Instagram, TikTok, and X social media accounts throughout February.

Streamer Competition Structure

Streamers can participate in a competitive tournament from February 5-23, earning points through daily streaming and completing special challenges. Participants must apply through Twitch’s registration system, and the platform will process submissions within one week. Twitch recommends applications be submitted by February 2.

The company will maintain a public leaderboard showing participant rankings throughout the qualification period. Points accumulate from 12:00 a.m. PT on February 5 through 11:59 p.m. PT on February 23.

Applications can be submitted here.

Grand Finale and Eligibility Requirements

Qualifying streamers will compete in the Bloxfest Grand Finale on February 26-27. The top 16 Roblox streamers in Spanish-speaking Latin America, the top 16 streamers in Brazil, and the top 32 streamers in North America will advance to the finale. Finalists will be drafted onto teams led by eight captains: NicoBlox, IBella, iBugou, ElAbrahaham, robinhoodgamer, CherryAhrizona, KreekCraft, and Lanaraee.

Competitors must be available from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT on both finale days and stream exclusively on Twitch during those timeframes.

Eligibility extends to Partner or Affiliate streamers based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, or Brazil. All applicants must be 18 or older and residents of North or South America.

Platform Promotion and Technical Details

Twitch will feature Roblox streams in its front-page carousel and in a dedicated collection on desktop and mobile throughout Bloxfest. The platform stated that this increased exposure aims to help streamers grow their communities.

Reward codes will be delivered to users’ Twitch notification inboxes and may take up to 24 hours to appear after being earned. The rewards are available to viewers in any region where Roblox and Twitch are accessible, not limited to North American and South American viewers.
