TikTok, ATP Serve Up Global Partnership To Transform Tennis Fan Engagement
TikTok and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) announced a global content partnership focused on delivering compelling athlete and men’s tennis content to fans through creator collaboration. The partnership aims to enhance the tennis fan experience while attracting new audiences through exclusive access.
The #tennis community on TikTok has transformed how fans engage with the sport, with over 1.8 million posts that have grown 30% so far in 2025. Players including Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic have already joined the platform, offering fans unique glimpses into professional tennis players’ lives.
“Tennis is in full swing on TikTok right now,” Rollo Goldstaub, TikTok’s Global Head of Sports Partnerships, said in the announcement. “Players are connecting with growing fan bases by showing their real personalities in captivating content that has turned the sport into a cultural phenomenon that blends competition with entertainment.”
The partnership includes the creation of a Tennis Creator Network, providing TikTok creators in key cities exclusive access to ATP Tour events. This initiative allows creators to offer their audiences behind-the-scenes looks at the global sport. Select creators will also be invited to the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy to showcase the event through their unique perspectives.
Broader Sports Strategy
This collaboration extends TikTok’s growing portfolio of sports partnerships. The platform has previously established successful partnerships with other sports organizations, including Major League Soccer and the NFL, demonstrating TikTok’s commitment to sports content.
“We are thrilled to partner with TikTok to continue to grow the global fan base for the ATP and our player and tournament members,” stated Andrew Walker, SVP of Brand and Marketing at ATP Tour. “This strategic content partnership with TikTok builds on current trends with our younger audiences, places ATP at the forefront of the intersection of culture and sport, and creates discoverable content that cuts through for both players and tournaments.”
