Social Video Intelligence Startup Plot Raises $10M as Enterprise Demand Surges
Plot, a New York-based social video intelligence platform, raised $10 million in new funding to expand its platform and agentic marketing tools for enterprise brands. XYZ Venture Capital and Mischief Ventures co-led the seed round, with participation from Seven Seven Six and Acme Capital, bringing Plot’s total funding to $14 million.
The platform’s customers include Visa, Mastercard, PepsiCo, Fenty Beauty, Benefit Cosmetics, CAVA, Intuit, and Warby Parker, among others.

Addressing the Shift to Video
Plot builds technology that identifies brand mentions in social video, including content that does not tag the brand directly. Video accounts for 76% of all mobile data traffic, according to an Ericsson Mobility Report, yet most social listening platforms were built to process text-based signals such as captions and hashtags.
Megan Duong, a former social marketing lead at Apple and digital producer at Gap, founded Plot in 2022 after growing frustrated with text-based listening tools that could not process untagged or short-form video. The company launched its video intelligence platform in 2024 after approximately 18 months of building infrastructure to read the full context of social video content, including products, objects, audio, and sentiment.
“The world has moved to video, but existing marketing tech platforms haven’t kept up. Brands spend millions on influencer and marketing campaigns without knowing who’s posting, when, or what’s landing,” said Duong, CEO of Plot.

Customer Outcomes and Business Performance
Plot reported 3.8x year-over-year ARR growth and a 132% net revenue retention rate, with demand driven almost entirely through inbound channels. Its customer base spans beauty, fashion, food and beverage, financial services, technology, and sports.

CAVA Director of Social Media Andrew Downing said the platform captures 3x more brand content than previous tools. “Creators aren’t always tagging CAVA, so a lot of content was hidden from us in the past,” Downing said. “Because Plot pulls in untagged mentions, we are seeing a 3x lift in content we would’ve missed with other tools.”
Expanding Into Agentic Workflows
Plot plans to use the new funding to build an agentic layer on top of its video intelligence infrastructure. The company launched campaign tracking tools in January 2026 and plans to release creator sourcing and deep research features throughout Q2 and Q3 2026.
The creator sourcing product will allow marketing teams to find creators through natural language prompts, with each creator vetted against their full content history and brand-fit signals.
“Now marketing teams can finally see inside the data that matters most and act on it in real time,” said Camille Ricketts, Operating Partner at XYZ Venture Capital and former Head of Marketing at Notion, who co-led the round.
