Former Trade Desk Chief Revenue Officer Joins ShopMy as CRO
Jed Dederick, who spent nearly 14 years at The Trade Desk and most recently served as its chief revenue officer, has joined creator affiliate marketing platform ShopMy as CRO, per ADWEEK. He started on October 13 and reports to ShopMy CEO Harry Rein.
Dederick joined The Trade Desk in 2012 as the first member of its sales team. He later served as regional VP of East Coast Sales and as North American Head of Sales before becoming CRO. In that role, he oversaw revenue generation and new client acquisition globally. According to his Trade Desk biography, he helped build the company’s largest client partnerships and its sales capacity, including go-to-market strategy, messaging, and organization.
Before The Trade Desk, Dederick held digital sales and client services roles at publishers including The Wall Street Journal and WebMD.
Dederick sees parallels between the early days of programmatic advertising and the current state of creator commerce. When he started at The Trade Desk, he said, digital advertising was “a highly fragmented marketplace” in which individual brands or agencies sent insertion orders to individual publishers.
“Through the evolution of programmatic, we uncovered the value of liquidity and automation,” Dederick said. “I see that happening in creator commerce now.”
ShopMy, founded in 2020 and based in New York, raised $70 million in October 2025 in a round led by Avenir, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Menlo Ventures. The round valued the company at $1.5 billion.
At the time of the raise, ShopMy reported more than $1 billion in annual platform sales driven by curator recommendations, a network of more than 185,000 tastemakers, and partnerships with more than 1,200 brands. The company also reported 200% year-over-year revenue growth and said it had been profitable since 2024.
Rein previously said that ShopMy is “fundamentally a bet on authenticity,” with lasting brand value coming through curation and taste rather than ads and algorithmic recommendations. Co-founder and President Tiffany Lopinsky said the company has “deep conviction that curators are the future of brand distribution.”
