Tubi, TikTok Name 12 Creators for Incubator to Develop 10 Original Series

Tubi, the free streaming service owned by Fox Corporation, and TikTok announced the 12 creators selected for the “Tubi x TikTok Creatorverse Incubator,” which will produce 10 original series exclusive to Tubi.

The series span animation, horror, reality, and YA, in both scripted and unscripted formats. The companies said the creators are recognized across entertainment, from award shows and film festival red carpets to TikTok’s Discover List and Showbiz List.

The horror titles are “Would You Survive?” from Christopher Kiely, in which he assesses whether an average person could survive scenarios from films, and “Scare Tours” from Allie Tran, which visits the locations of well-known scary movies. Two animated series are also in the slate: “Feeling Super,” a comedy from Lynnell Jones Jr., and “The Roach Chronicles” from Kendria Bland. Sebastian Krahl is creating “Jamie Crow,” an adult animated series about a high school senior obsessed with serial killers.

Kai Cameron hosts the dating show “Kai Picks the Guy.” Sabrina Brier hosts “Asking for a Friend,” a comedy in which she and celebrity guests discuss modern friendship. Marc Sebastian fronts the travel series “A Great Australian Gay Sidequest.”

Madison Humphrey stars in “The Leasing Manager,” a comedy about an apartment complex leasing manager. Yasmine Sahid stars in “Never Have I Spent the Winter with the Romano Brothers,” a comedy about a teen who moves to small-town Alaska after losing her parents. Alex Maystrik and Pablo Hernandez play the two brothers.

“The creators we’re working with have built a following, a point of view, and a body of work that people come back for,” said Kudzi Chikumbu, VP of Creator Partnerships at Tubi. “The Incubator is where we come in as their partner, giving them the creative freedom to grow what they’ve started.”

Dawn Yang, Global Head of Entertainment & Micro-series at TikTok, said the creators’ TikTok communities “show just how much people connect with creator-led storytelling.”

From Announcement to Cohort

Tubi and TikTok first announced the Incubator in March. At that time, TikTok said it would identify creators for consideration, and Tubi said it would announce an initial cohort over the summer. TikTok also said it would use its TikTok Spotlight feature to drive fan conversation around the series.

The cohort follows growth in Tubi’s creator catalog. In March, Tubi said it had added more than 16,000 episodes from over 200 creators in the previous 10 months. The company now says that since launching Tubi for Creators in June 2025, it has added more than 35,000 episodes from over 700 creators. Tubi also said it has brought the Creatorverse platform’s creator content to Fire TV and launched a Creatorverse Hub for browsing creator films and series.

Tubi cited Kelon Campbell’s “Terri Joe: Missionary in Miami” in March as an example of the model. The film, based on Campbell’s TikTok Live characters, debuted at No. 8 on Variety’s Streaming Original Movies Chart in January.
