Druski Signs Multi-Year Netflix Deal

Druski, the comedian Rolling Stone named its most influential creator of 2026, has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to develop original series exclusively for the streamer through his company, 4LIFERS Entertainment, according to Netflix’s official announcement.

The first project, “Collect & Praise,” premieres December 1. The semi-scripted comedy stars Druski as a money-hungry megachurch pastor opposite comedian Mike Epps, who plays the pastor’s deacon, according to Variety. The character originated in a viral internet sketch and later appeared at the BET Awards. Per the logline, the pair navigate scandal, chaos, and controversy as they lead a congregation.

Netflix will also license select titles from Druski’s existing catalog, including “Coulda Been Love,” “Coulda Been Daddy,” “Coulda Been Records Auditions,” and several of his comedic skits. Variety reported that the series, which Druski posted directly to YouTube, have generated more than 1 billion views collectively.

“I’ve built my platform by creating characters and comedy that resonate with people,” Druski said. “This partnership with Netflix will give me the resources to build on that comedy foundation and bring my work to a new global audience.” He added that the deal is an opportunity for 4LIFERS Entertainment to expand its reach and develop original programming.

John Derderian, who oversees Next Gen Content at Netflix, said Druski “has a gift for building characters that people can’t stop talking about.” Derderian added that “‘Collect & Praise’ is just the beginning.”

From Self-Financed to Studio Partner

The Netflix agreement is Druski’s first major partnership within the Hollywood studio system, and he became famous by self-financing his content and distributing it independently on social media, according to Variety.

Druski described that path in a September appearance on “The Diary of a CEO.” He said years of proposals to FX, Amazon, and Netflix were turned down, after which he decided to spend his own money producing shows for YouTube. He said he has put millions of dollars into that production. “Now they want to purchase these shows that we’ve made,” he said.

The “Coulda Been” franchise is part of that independent catalog. “Coulda Been Records,” which began as a platform for artists on his Instagram Lives, grew into “Coulda Fest,” a sold-out hybrid comedy and music festival launched in fall 2024. The franchise expanded into an arena tour in 2025.

A Year of Growth and Recognition

Druski began posting skits on Instagram in 2017 and has grown his following to nearly 40 million across platforms. His credits include the films “House Party,” “Praise This” and “Livestream from Hell,” as well as music videos for Drake, Jack Harlow and Lil Yachty.

The deal follows a run of recognition this year. Rolling Stone ranked him No. 1 on its list of 25 most influential creators in August. Netflix said he became the youngest-ever host of the BET Awards, appeared on the cover of TIME’s 2026 TIME100 Next issue, and was named No. 1 “Funniest Person on the Internet Right Now” by Complex for the second consecutive year. Variety reported that he joined Emma Stone and Chris Pine in the cast of the upcoming film “The Catch.”

Druski is set to host “Saturday Night Live” on November 7, making him the first digital content creator to do so. Earlier this year, he was a team captain in the Super Bowl LX flag football game and presented at the NFL Honors, which will stream on Netflix in 2027.
