Rebel Audio Adds Executives From Twitch, Audible and MGM Studios Ahead of Public Launch

Rebel Audio, the AI-powered podcasting platform, has appointed Randeep Bhatia as Chief Technology Officer and Patrice Choghi as Chief Operating Officer, while also adding Prabh Guhman as Principal Tech Lead as the company moves from public beta toward full public launch.

Bhatia brings more than 20 years of technology experience, including serving as Head of Engineering at Twitch and Senior Director at Audible, and most recently as CTO of Splash Music. At Rebel Audio, he will lead product and technology operations. “I have spent my career on both halves of this problem: the infrastructure that delivers audio at scale, at Audible and at Twitch, and the AI that generates it, including a music foundation model I trained from scratch,” Bhatia said. “Rebel Audio is where those two meet. We are going to give every creator the production capability that used to require a studio, a team and a budget.”

Choghi takes over operations, business strategy and commercial partnerships. He spent two decades at Amazon MGM Studios, Televisa, United Artists and Mark Burnett Productions, most recently founding and running Amazon MGM Studios’ Global Formats and Unscripted Content division, which placed more than 50 series into over 120 countries. “The Creator Economy has radically transformed the entertainment ecosystem, and Rebel is building the bridge between creators and Hollywood,” Choghi said.

“You need technologists who move fast and operators who make speed sustainable,” said Jared Gutstadt, Rebel Audio’s founder and CEO. “Randeep, Patrice and Prabh have done that within multiple Amazon properties, and now they’re bringing their playbooks to Rebel.”

Rebel Audio launched in March 2026 pitching itself as “the Canva of podcasting,” an AI production and distribution tool meant to lower the technical barrier to launching a show, with producer Mark Burnett on board as an advisor and podcaster Mike “Big Mike” Majlak, co-host of Impaulsive, serving as Chief Creator in Residence. The company’s most recent announcement describes an oversubscribed $4.15 million seed round backing that vision, with investors including Julie Gauthier, Benjamin Lurie, Jonathan Schulman, Launch Tennessee and Market Square Ventures.
