Pinterest Expands Global Inclusion Fund For 2025 After Driving 250% Increase In Saves Last Year
Pinterest is expanding its Inclusion Fund program for 2025, marking five years of supporting diverse content producers on the platform. The enhanced initiative will operate across 13 markets, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, Australia, Japan, and Indonesia.
In a blog post, Pinterest states the program targets small merchant businesses and content creators in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle sectors who contribute to Pinterest’s inclusive features, such as skin tone ranges, hair pattern search, and body type ranges.
Measurable Engagement Growth Through Inclusive Features
Platform data indicate that users who engage with inclusive features save 75% more Pins than those who don’t, providing participants with significant growth opportunities among Pinterest’s half-billion monthly active users.
Past participants report performance improvements. Since 2021, the fund has supported over 350 content producers with continued success. U.S.-based merchant Dosso Beauty experienced 300% growth in saves, while last year’s global merchant participants increased their saves by over 250% and outbound clicks by 147 times post-program.
“The Pinterest Inclusion Fund gave us the visibility and confidence we needed to elevate our message,” stated On the Edge Baby Hair, a brand that saw a 960% increase in saves and over 124,000% growth in outbound clicks after participation.
Applications Now Open with Enhanced Benefits
The 2025 program reintroduces a creator-focused cohort with increased scale. Accepted participants receive monetary incentives in the form of cash or ad credits grants, along with expert coaching and training sessions that cover platform best practices, Pinterest trend leveraging, and product catalog optimization.
Social media management platform Later is partnering with the fund to offer complimentary one-year social creator subscriptions and three-month social starter subscriptions for small merchants.
Applications for creators opened April 30 across various markets with staggered deadlines through May. Merchant applications for the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina are currently open. Applications for Australia, France, India, and the UK are scheduled for later in 2025.
