Moburst Acquires Amazon Marketing Agency Hyperzon, Continuing M&A Push After $11.8M Investment

Moburst, a full-service mobile-first digital marketing agency, has acquired Hyperzon, a full-scale Amazon marketing agency, the company announced in a press release. The deal adds dedicated e-commerce capabilities to Moburst’s service stack and marks the agency’s latest move since securing an $11.8 million investment from Chrysalis Holdings in May.

Hyperzon has worked with more than 150 brands, including Evereden, Primal Harvest, goPure and Uproot Clean, across categories such as supplements, cosmetics, pet, baby, fitness and wellness. The agency, founded and bootstrapped by five co-founders, says its clients see an average 200% lift in Amazon sales within eight months. Under the new arrangement, Hyperzon will operate as “Hyperzon by Moburst,” bringing 30 team members into Moburst as a specialized e-commerce growth unit.

The acquired team will handle product listing optimization, content and creative generation, storefront management, media buying, account strategy, and performance improvement for Amazon specifically. Moburst has offered Amazon advertising as part of its broader paid media services, but says driving results on the platform requires a marketplace-specific strategy, since performance depends on daily sales velocity across both paid and organic activity.

“Amazon is no longer a separate e-commerce channel. It is one of the most important places where consumers discover, validate, and buy from brands,” said Gilad Bechar, founder and CEO of Moburst. “Hyperzon brings deep marketplace expertise that fills a fast-growing need for our clients.”

The deal follows Moburst’s $11.8 million investment from Chrysalis Holdings, a private investment firm based in Fulton, Maryland, disclosed in May. That investment included an equity stake in Moburst and an expanded services arrangement for Chrysalis portfolio company NewDay USA, a mortgage lender serving veterans, with the capital earmarked in part for developing AI-driven products and expanding the agency’s offerings. The Hyperzon acquisition is the first M&A move since that raise closed.

“Joining Moburst lets us improve on what we do best, and that’s scaling brands on Amazon,” said Hristo Arakliev, COO and co-founder of Hyperzon. “Moburst’s AI capabilities and global client base give us new ways to optimize our work, expand our reach, and help brands move faster on Amazon.”

Bechar framed the acquisition as part of a broader strategy of adding specialized capabilities rather than scaling for its own sake. “We don’t expand for the sake of scale,” he said. “Every acquisition is designed to bring in some of the world’s best specialists, adding new capabilities our clients need now and will need even more tomorrow.”

Moburst’s existing services span mobile strategy, organic search and answer engine optimization, creative production, paid media across search, social, and influencer channels, and app and web development, with clients including Google, Uber, Samsung, and Reddit.
