How AIR Media-Tech Is Empowering YouTube Stars Globally

Behind the billions of views on YouTube exists a complex infrastructure challenge that most successful creators face: how to transform content creation into a sustainable global business. AIR Media-Tech, working with 2,500 creators across 44 countries who collectively generate 20 billion monthly views, has developed an ecosystem of technology solutions addressing this exact problem.

After becoming a certified YouTube partner in 2011, the Canada-based company began developing specialized services targeting pain points that prevent creators from scaling their channels into sustainable businesses. Today, these services span content optimization, rights management, translation, financial services, and cross-platform distribution.

“Creators are the front end of this ecosystem – the part which audiences see – and AIR performs as an operating system in the background, making scale, sustainability, and long-term growth possible,” explains Sergii Bielousov, co-founder and CEO of AIR Media-Tech. “We have been building the ecosystem where YouTube creators grow into global entrepreneurs, empowering them with technology, financial tools, and growth services to unlock their full potential.”

AIR’s growth strategy has centered on identifying emerging talent early and growing alongside them. “Since the very beginning, our strategy was as follows. We believed in creators who were just making their first steps on YouTube, like those little pearls or rising stars,” Sergii explains. This approach has yielded success stories, most notably with “Kids Diana Show,” a family channel and global entertainment brand.

“Ten years ago, this creator family had just 500 subscribers on their YouTube channel,” says Sergii. “Today, they have 136 million subscribers on their main channel and more than 20 channels translated into different languages. The total audience of those channels is more than 250 million.”

This growth trajectory rivals even that of YouTube’s biggest stars, with Diana’s combined audience approaching the scale of MrBeast, but achieved through international expansion rather than concentration on a single channel.

What distinguishes AIR among creator service providers is its dual focus on technological improvements and personalized support. “We chose to focus on scalable tech solutions to serve our growing clientele, but without losing the personal touch and those regular connections that creators need and value,” Sergii says.

The Integrated Ecosystems

According to Sergii, new YouTubers typically face key growth challenges, including optimizing metadata, improving production quality, and building an initial audience. As they grow, new problems emerge: copyright management, team expansion, international potential, and diversifying revenue streams.

AIR’s ecosystem addresses each stage of this growth path with specialized tools and services. By listening to creator needs and monitoring industry changes, the company offers more than 30 specialized services across six key areas: content performance optimization, audience growth, rights management, revenue diversification, platform partnerships, and fintech solutions.

“We are one of the few companies that combine all the media and advanced tech solutions YouTubers need today in one ecosystem,” Sergii explains. “For many partners, we became a ‘one-stop shop’ for all services related to growth on YouTube, and content monetization on the platform and beyond as well.”

Breaking Language Barriers

One of AIR’s key services is content translation and localization. As a YouTube recommended vendor for translation, the company helps creators reach international audiences through professional translation, dubbing, and cultural adaptation of content across more than 50 languages.

Rather than simply translating words, AIR’s approach involves thorough localization that adapts content to cultural nuances and viewing preferences of different regions. The company’s translation teams use both AI tools and human expertise to ensure content maintains its appeal across cultural boundaries.

The impact of this service is evident in AIR’s portfolio of 270 translated YouTube channels, which collectively generate billions of monthly views. Among the company’s clients are creators such as Alain’s Universe, Brave Wilderness, and Futcrunch, and others.

Technological Tools for Creator Growth

Beyond translation, AIR has developed several effective technologies that address specific challenges faced by creators.

The first is Gyre Pro, AIR’s SaaS platform for pre-recorded live streaming, which helps creators maximize the value of their existing content library. “Gyre is a cloud-based platform for YouTube channel promotion and existing content repurposing by live streaming. It allows creators to increase the number of views, audience retention, commercial impressions, watch time, CPMs, and subscriber count,” Sergii explains. This technology enables creators to launch 24/7 live streams using pre-recorded content, a solution that major media companies, including NBCUniversal, BBC, and WildBrain, have adopted.

“All platforms like live streaming format a lot, because when users see that this content is live-streamed, they tend to stick to it and watch longer because of that effect,” Sergii says. “That’s why all creators try to go live as often as they can, but not all of them can do it naturally, like standing in front of a camera and presenting. And with this solution, they can launch live streams in a pre-recorded format.”

The next addition to AIR’s ecosystem is MilX, a financial platform specifically designed for YouTube creators, as Sergii notes, because traditional banking and payment systems aren’t well-suited to the unique needs of the creator economy. As reasons, he cites irregular income cycles, international payments, team compensation, and access to capital for growth.

MilX addresses these challenges by functioning as a specialized financial hub on a mobile phone. “Here, creators see their revenues, so available funds that they can withdraw through various payment methods and use for their purposes,” Sergii says. The platform enables creators to access their earnings before YouTube’s payment cycle, providing a cash flow advantage.

“Approved funds, it’s the money that he actually has. It’s money that is already paid by YouTube, for example, and is in his account. Advanced ones, this is the money that we already see in his YouTube analytics. However, YouTube has not yet paid us this money. But we are ready to transfer this money to the creator if he needs it now. Creators who use MilX for a couple of months can also enjoy Active funds that may equal up to six months of revenue of creators’ YouTube channels.”

MilX also streamlines creator business operations through automated payment features. “Most creators work with teams, managers, editors, and some other people, cameramen [sic], and they need to pay salaries. With this feature, they can enter payment details for each of their team members and automate monthly payments to this account straight from their wallet in the system.”

In early 2025, AIR launched Oxys.ai, an AI platform designed for YouTube creators, enabling them to grow faster and work smarter. It generates data-driven video ideas, automates routine tasks like optimization of titles and descriptions, translates and dubs content into multiple languages, analyzes comments for insights, and even responds to fans, saving time while boosting reach and engagement.

”We have built OXYS.ai  to help YouTube creators grow their channels (and revenue) by improving video discoverability and fan engagement, while reducing manual work,” says Sergii.

AIR’s newest addition, Royalty.io (launched in Q3 2025 in beta), aims to change how creators raise capital by tokenizing future ad revenue streams. This blockchain-powered platform enables creators to offer tokens backed by a share of their upcoming YouTube income, allowing fans to become true channel stakeholders while creators retain full creative control and independence.

“Royalty.io is the first marketplace in the creator economy where fans can participate directly in a creator’s growth and success by acquiring tokenized royalties from future ad revenue,” explains Sergii.

Expanding Beyond YouTube

While YouTube remains AIR’s primary focus, the company has expanded to address the multi-platform reality of today’s creator economy. Since 2019, AIR has been a TikTok partner, and in 2024, it established a partnership with Microsoft to distribute creator content through MSN.

The Microsoft partnership offers creators access to two billion monthly users across Microsoft’s ecosystem without requiring exclusive content.

AIR has also developed Pin.Top, a platform for influencer marketing that helps creators monetize through brand partnerships. The service serves as both a professional media kit for creators and a discovery tool for brands, featuring rate listing, contracting, and payment automation.

Working Through the Industry

The creator economy has changed notably since AIR’s founding in 2010. Today’s creators face increasing challenges that make full-service support more valuable.

“In 2025, the biggest challenges for YouTubers are growing competition, shifting algorithms, and audience fragmentation across multiple platforms,” Sergii observes. “Creators not only need to stand out with high-quality, genuine content, but also quickly adapt to new formats like Shorts and responsibly integrate AI into their workflow.”

The company’s continued growth reflects this changing situation. In 2022, AIR acquired ScaleLab, a U.S.-based talent network of YouTubers, expanding its North American presence. The company has also continued developing AI-powered tools to help creators optimize content performance, with solutions that can boost results by up to 20%.

“Another major challenge is building a sustainable business beyond ad revenue,” Sergii says. “Those who diversify income streams and cultivate direct relationships with their audience will have the best chance of long-term success.”

Looking ahead, Sergii envisions a creator economy that continues to professionalize and globalize, with AIR playing a central role in that change.

“In five years, I see AIR Media-Tech as a truly global ecosystem for creators, fully leveraging AI advancements – a place where technology, finance, and growth services come together to support creators at every stage of their journey,” Sergii says.

“As for the YouTube creator ecosystem as a whole, I believe it will grow into a more professional, borderless industry, where creators are recognized not just as influencers, but as global entrepreneurs building sustainable media businesses,” he concludes.
