CTV Platform Play.Works Adds Legal Creator ‘Law By Mike’ To Network
Play.Works announced the addition of “Law By Mike” to its Connected TV network, bringing the legal education creator’s content to television screens as creator partnerships rank as the top advertising priority for brands in 2026.
The launch includes “Law By Mike’s” main channel and “Mike Off Record,” an unscripted series covering scam products and legal scenarios. “Law By Mike” has 17.3 million YouTube subscribers and 30 million followers across social platforms.
YouTube featured “Law By Mike” as a top creator in multiple markets in its “2025 Global Culture & Trends Report,” ranking seventh in the U.S. and UK and fifth in Canada.
“Creators are the new primetime. Play.Works is building the home for them on Connected TV, and ‘Law By Mike’ is a standout addition to that lineup,” said Jonathan Boltax, CEO of Play.Works, in the announcement.
The move coincides with IAB research showing creator partnerships are the top-ranked ad format for 2026, with 57% of brand and agency buyers identifying them as their highest priority. Social media advertising, where most creator partnerships activate, is projected to grow 14.6% in 2026, outpacing connected television’s 13.8% growth.
“For creator-CEOs like Mike, long-term growth means diversifying revenue streams with strategic partnerships. With nearly half of YouTube viewing already on TV screens, launching with Play.Works expands our reach in the living room beyond any single platform,” said Donovan Martinez, Fractional CRO for “Law By Mike.”
