beehiiv Schedules First Summer Release Event to Unveil Next Platform Chapter
beehiiv will host its first Summer Release Event on July 16 at 1 p.m. ET. The live event will spotlight what the company has planned as it expands beyond newsletters into publishing, audience growth, and monetization.
“The future of audience-led businesses is on beehiiv,” said co-founder and CEO Tyler Denk. “If you’re already building on beehiiv, this takes you to another level. If you’re not, this is what changes your mind.”
The July event follows the company’s first Winter Release Event last fall, where beehiiv unveiled 10 major product updates.
Recent Product Expansion
beehiiv has rolled out several product additions in recent months. In April, the platform launched native podcast hosting, allowing creators to distribute episodes to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, and Castro with no platform fees, download-based pricing, or storage caps. The company also added webinar hosting for up to 1,000 attendees, metered paywalls, and paid trials, giving creators tools to convert free readers into paying subscribers.
In May, beehiiv hired Ainsley Rossitto as Head of Podcasts. Rossitto previously served as VP of Digital Strategy and Operations for Podcasts at Paramount and held prior roles at NPR. beehiiv plans to extend its existing newsletter ad network into podcasting, allowing creators to sell sponsors a cross-channel audience rather than advertising against downloads alone.
beehiiv reported adding nearly $4.5 million in annual recurring revenue, sent more than 10 billion emails, and surpassed 50,000 active users as of Q1 2026. The platform now hosts more than 150,000 creators and publishers and has surpassed 500 enterprise customers, including TIME, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Hearst.
Denk said the Summer Release Event will serve creators across scales. “From solo creators to high-growth media businesses, beehiiv is where serious operators come to build something that lasts,” he said.
