TikTok Launches Global Winter Sports Campaign With International Ski Federation
TikTok and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) announced an extended partnership for the 2025/26 season that includes the platform’s first global winter sports posting campaign. The renewal builds on last season’s results, when content across FIS channels reached more than 400 million views, according to the announcement.

The partnership designates TikTok as the official entertainment partner of FIS, providing coverage across nine dedicated competition accounts featuring Alpine Skiing, Ski Jumping, Snowboard Freestyle, and other disciplines. The collaboration serves FIS’s network of 141 associated nations.
Campaign Structure and Prizes
The global #wintersport campaign invites fans to upload videos capturing winter sports content through February 2, 2026. Participants from 15 eligible countries compete for prizes including a first-place trip for two to the FIS Moguls Final in Azerbaijan from March 17-20, valued at up to €8,000. The package includes VIP access, five nights of accommodation, travel, and meals.

Second prize offers two VIP tickets worth €500 to the FIS World Championships with athlete meet-and-greet access, excluding travel and accommodation. Third prize provides ski equipment worth €1,000 each, with additional cash prizes available.
Eligible countries include the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Poland, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark.
Previous Season Performance
Last season marked substantial growth across FIS’ TikTok presence. According to the announcement, the organization increased post volume by 1,670% while follower counts grew 640%. Combined reach and engagement metrics rose 4,400% across the nine competition channels.

A ski jumping clip featuring Austrian athlete Daniel Huber generated over 100 million views and drew more than 30,000 comments, representing one of the season’s standout moments on the platform.
Athlete Development Program
The partnership introduces workshops and educational sessions designed to help athletes build their TikTok presence. The program targets world-class competitors across all snow sports disciplines from FIS’s 141 member nations, enabling athletes to connect with fans and sponsors.
Participating athletes include Andri Ragettli, Sofia Goggia, Mikaela Shiffrin, Chloe Kim, Brenna Huckaby, and Scotty James.
“Winter sports have a unique ability to engage people everywhere, and our goal is to bring that excitement even closer to fans,” stated Benjamin Stoll, Digital & Innovation Director at FIS. “TikTok gives us and the athletes a powerful platform to share stories and the standout moments that define our sports.”
Platform’s Sports Partnership Strategy
The FIS agreement extends TikTok’s sports portfolio, which includes partnerships with Major League Soccer, the NFL, the ATP Tour, and Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
The #tennis community on TikTok has grown 30% in 2025, with over 1.8 million posts. Soccer content on TikTok shows 14.8 million posts using #soccer, with nearly 9 million created in 2024 alone, according to TikTok’s internal data.
“Winter sports continue to captivate and inspire the TikTok community globally,” stated Dominic Burns, Head of Operations at TikTok UK, Ireland, and Nordics. “Our partnership with FIS enables us to supercharge this discovery, by bringing athletes, creators and fans together through competitions, workshops and new content formats.”
