Dentsu, CreatorIQ Partner to Integrate Audience Targeting Data With Creator Selection
Dentsu and CreatorIQ have announced a data partnership that connects dentsu’s proprietary audience platform with CreatorIQ’s creator database, allowing brands to match target audience attributes directly against creator audience data.
The integration links dentsu.audiences, the agency’s audience strategy and insights platform, with CreatorIQ’s AI-enabled platform. Through the partnership, dentsu clients across creative, media, and CRM functions gain access to a database of micro- to macro-creators spanning every major social media platform, each mapped against the client’s target audience data.
The companies made the announcement in Cannes, France.
Closing a Data Gap
As creator ad spend approaches $44 billion, creator selection has largely operated separately from the audience intelligence that informs other media decisions, according to the companies. Brands have typically selected creators based on follower counts, engagement rates, and category fit rather than direct audience overlap with defined target segments. The integration embeds creator profiles and corresponding audience data into dentsu’s planning ecosystem, enabling what the companies describe as media-grade precision in creator discovery.
“By bringing together CreatorIQ data with dentsu.Audiences, we’re connecting audience intelligence, creator discovery, and measurement within a single ecosystem, creating a level of interoperability the industry hasn’t seen before,” said Sadie Schabdach, EVP Influencer Marketing at Dentsu Creative.
Chris Harrington, CEO of CreatorIQ, said the partnership targets a longstanding disconnect in how brands plan creator campaigns. “For too long, creator selection has operated separately from the audience intelligence that drives every other media decision, and that disconnect has been one of the biggest sources of inefficiency in the industry,” Harrington said. “Bringing CreatorIQ’s creator audience data directly into dentsu’s planning ecosystem solves for precision in the moment.”
Scope and Rollout
The data integration is focused on the U.S., though the broader partnership extends globally. Dentsu clients in travel, CPG, and health are already testing the combined platform.
CreatorIQ’s underlying infrastructure, the Creator Graph, processes more than 250 million social posts daily across more than 15 million creators worldwide. The partnership integrates into the tech stack powering dentsu Social and follows the agency’s recent relaunch of 360i in the U.S., its social-first, AI-native offering.
