Audioboom Posts Record Q3 As Podcast Revenue Jumps 18%
Audioboom Group Plc. reports record third-quarter performance with revenue reaching $20.4 million, a 9% year-over-year increase, as the podcast company strengthens its position in both audio and video content monetization.
The global podcast company delivered $1.2 million in profit for Q3, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year. Gross profit reached $4.3 million, up 12% year-on-year, while year-to-date gross margin improved to 21% from 18% in the prior-year period.
“Audioboom’s positive momentum has continued throughout Q3, with record revenue, profit, and audience growth achieved,” CEO Stuart Last said in a statement. “We are reshaping the industry by leading in video podcasting and creating new value for both creators and advertisers around the globe.”
The company reports $79 million in advertising revenue already secured for the full year 2025, positioning it for its strongest quarter yet to close out the year.
Creator Network and Advertiser Growth
Audioboom’s Creator Network now delivers more than 135 million downloads and views monthly, with brand advertisers increasing to a record 10,058, a 22% year-over-year rise. The company has surpassed $325 million in cumulative payments to creators, supporting more than 8,000 podcasters worldwide.
The quarter also saw the completion of the Adelicious acquisition, creating the UK’s second-largest podcast network. The integration, completed on September 1, added 25 million monthly downloads and video views to Audioboom’s network, contributing to a record performance from Showcase, the company’s dynamic advertising marketplace.
Audioboom ranks #1 on Podscribe’s U.S. video chart. Video now represents approximately 15% of the company’s overall business revenue, with the network hosting 12 of the top 100 video podcasts in the U.S. According to the investor presentation, 25% of Audioboom’s distribution is in video format, with 60% of its podcasts offering video versions.
International Expansion
To support its next growth phase, Audioboom appointed Craig Eastwood as Vice President, International, a new role focused on expansion strategies and partnerships outside the U.S. and UK. The company notes that while 30% of its distribution occurs outside these core markets, less than 2% of revenue currently comes from international sources, representing a significant growth opportunity.
For Q4 2025, Audioboom expects record download and view figures, benefiting from seasonal demand related to NFL, EPL, Thanksgiving, and Christmas content, as well as the first full quarter including Adelicious operations.
