Audioboom Taps Craig Eastwood To Spearhead Global Expansion

Podcast company Audioboom has appointed Craig Eastwood as Vice President, International, to lead its international expansion efforts.

Eastwood previously served as Commercial Operations Director at British podcast network Adelicious, which Audioboom acquired in July to create a new podcast network reaching 40 million unique listeners with more than 135 million monthly downloads and video views.

In his new role, Eastwood will oversee Audioboom’s international roadmap for the next five years. His responsibilities include developing commercial partnerships in key distribution regions, executing strategies for on-the-ground operations in new territories, and identifying growth opportunities through mergers and acquisitions beyond the U.S. and UK markets where Audioboom currently operates.

“The podcast industry continues to evolve rapidly and – alongside advances in technology – international markets present huge opportunities for both creators and advertisers,” Eastwood said in a press release. “Drawing on the experience of helping Adelicious achieve rapid growth, I’m excited to apply those learnings on a larger global scale.”

Stuart Last, CEO of Audioboom, emphasized Eastwood’s fit for the role: “His deep understanding of both the operational and commercial sides of podcasting makes him the ideal person to take on this expanded role.”

Creator Economy Impact

The announcement comes during a growth period for Audioboom. The company recently reported surpassing $325 million in payments to podcast creators worldwide and doubling its video revenue in the first half of 2025, with video now accounting for 13% of its overall business.

More than 60% of Audioboom creators now produce video podcasts, and the network hosts 12 of the top 100 video podcasts in the U.S., according to Podscribe data cited by the company.

The company’s content portfolio includes official Formula 1 podcasts, as well as “True Crime Obsessed,” “The Tim Dillon Show,” and “No Such Thing As A Fish.” The Adelicious acquisition brought additional titles, including “Russell Howard’s Five Brilliant Things,” “Short History Of…,” and “The Teen Commandments with Sara Cox and Clare Hamilton” into Audioboom’s network.

Eastwood’s appointment signals Audioboom’s ambition to expand its global footprint at a time when the global podcast economy hit $7.3 billion in revenue, with the UK accounting for $338 million of that market, according to research by Owl & Co.
