YouTube Creator Zack London’s AI-Animated Feature Lands AGC International Distribution Deal

AGC International, the sales and distribution arm of Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios, has added “Gods Don’t Give Gifts” to its distribution slate and will introduce the animated sci-fi feature to buyers at the American Film Market. The film marks the feature directorial debut of YouTube creator Zack London, known online as “Gossip Goblin,” whose channel has 1.4 million subscribers and has drawn more than 1 billion views across his shorts.

The film’s trailer, released October 6, has passed 15 million views and ranks among Fandango’s most-viewed trailers on X. “Gods Don’t Give Gifts” is set for a U.S. theatrical release on December 4 and, according to AGC Studios, will be the first AI-assisted film to receive a traditional theatrical rollout and awards campaign.

“Zack London is a genuine auteur, and ‘Gods Don’t Give Gifts’ is a bold, original piece of cinema: a richly imagined world, sharp and unsettling storytelling, and a filmmaker using new tools to say something urgent about our moment,” said AGC Studios CEO Stuart Ford. “A creator who built a devoted global fanbase on YouTube and is now bringing that vision to cinema screens is exactly the kind of talent we want to champion.”

Producer Edward Saatchi said the backing of a studio with AGC’s distribution reach “give[s] ‘Gods Don’t Give Gifts’ the strongest possible launch” and called it “a powerful signal to exhibitors and audiences that AI-driven filmmaking, when it’s executed in the right way, belongs on the big screen.”

London described the project as a 10-month-plus effort involving writers, artists, animators, voice actors, musicians and a traditional post-production crew, with AI used as “a tool to help us tell our story at scale” rather than a replacement for the creative team. The film is set in a science-fiction, horror-tinged world called the “Second Cycle of Humanity,” exploring what London called “the strange interplay and growing disconnect between the body and the mind” as transhumanism reshapes human limits.

WME Independent brokered the U.S. sale and continues to consult on the theatrical plans, while AGC International holds rights for the rest of the world. The deal extends AGC’s recent push into creator-driven content: the studio launched AGC Digital to develop and commercialize creator-led IP, joined Collage as an investor and strategic advisor to help AI-first production companies navigate Hollywood, and is separately handling worldwide sales on “Critterz,” an AI-integrated family feature from Vertigo Films and Native Foreign.

London’s Gossip Goblin Inc. says it has released more than 600 episodes and built an audience exceeding 3.5 million followers across two years, with more than 500 million total views. Saatchi’s company, Fable, is an Amazon-backed studio behind the AI television platform Showrunner and the Emmy- and Peabody-winning “Wolves in the Walls.”
