YouTube Unveils VidCon 2025 Programming, Pays Homage 20 Years Of Partnership

YouTube announced its full slate of VidCon 2025 programming as the platform marks two decades as the event’s title sponsor. The four-day convention in Anaheim features executive presentations, creator workshops, and sessions focused on monetization.

Executive Presentations

YouTube’s Head of Culture and Trends, Kevin Allocca, and Vice President of Creator Products, Amjad Hanif, will deliver the platform’s keynote address on June 20. The presentation, open to industry and creator attendees, will examine YouTube’s evolution and upcoming creator tools.

Monetization and Growth Sessions

Multiple sessions will focus on revenue generation opportunities. A panel titled “Spark Growth” will present monetization strategies including shopping features, gift-giving tools, and channel memberships. A separate session, “Finding Success with YouTube Shopping,” will feature creators discussing product tagging and sales conversion techniques.

Algorithm and Discovery Sessions

Platform experts will lead technical sessions on content discovery systems. “YouTube Decoded: The Experts Guide to the Algorithm” will cover recommendation systems across Shorts, TV, and multi-language content. A companion panel, “The YouTube Algorithm: Find Your Fans & Build Community,” will present growth tactics from product specialists and established creators.

Creator Community Events

YouTube is organizing “Creator Collective” gatherings for various communities, including themed events for Latino creators, Pride, Black creators, Asian American and Pacific Islander creators, and Roblox content specialists. These events are open to all creators regardless of badge status, though capacity is limited.

AI Integration Programming

The platform will offer an AI-focused workshop titled “The YouTube Creator Guide to AI Prompting,” highlighting how creators currently utilize AI in production workflows and providing guidance on implementing these technologies for audience engagement.
