VidCon Announces Inaugural ‘Hall Of Fame’ To Honor Digital Content Pioneers At 2025 Anaheim Event

VidCon will introduce its first-ever “Hall of Fame” at this year’s flagship event in Anaheim, scheduled for June 19-21, 2025. The new program celebrates pioneering creators who have shaped digital culture and the creator economy over the past two decades.

The inaugural class of inductees includes creators Rhett & Link, Smosh co-founders Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, Grace Helbig, Joey Graceffa, Tyler Oakley, Rosanna Pansino, and VidCon co-founder Hank Green. The timing aligns with YouTube‘s 20th anniversary, highlighting the platform’s role in digital content creation.

“By introducing a way to honor these iconic creators in our new ‘VidCon Hall of Fame,’ we are recognizing their contribution to the evolution of digital culture and their instrumental impact on pop culture and fandom,” VidCon Vice President Sarah Tortoreti said in a statement.

Honorees Rhett & Link noted: “Years ago, we sang a song at VidCon about every content creator’s worst existential fear: the inevitable fade into irrelevance. Somehow, against all odds and the Internet’s better judgment, we have managed to continue living our dream for two decades.”
