Fashion Creators Can Now Turn TikTok Comments Into Shopping Links Through New LTK Partnership

TikTok is launching an integration with influencer shopping platform LTK, enabling fashion creators to generate affiliate commission revenue directly through comment section links.

According to TechCrunch, product links appear automatically in their videos’ comment sections when creators utilize the new integration, though currently only within the TikTok mobile app.

While LTK confirmed the feature’s existence to TechCrunch, the company didn’t provide additional details about the rollout timeline or creator eligibility. Multiple creators have shared their participation in the program across both TikTok and Threads platforms.

The integration aims to streamline the shopping experience for consumers seeking to purchase items featured in TikTok content. Both platforms have independently developed tools to help shoppers make informed purchasing decisions, particularly clothing sizing. Users can search for specific items and sizes across both apps to find creators with similar body types modeling the products.

For fashion creators, the partnership expands their ability to earn affiliate commissions through LTK while simplifying the process of connecting viewers with featured products. The integration also advances TikTok’s expansion into social commerce, building on its existing entertainment focus.

In June, LTK unveiled LTK DM, a similar feature enabling creators to convert Instagram comments into direct shopping links. The tool allows shoppers to comment “Shop” on a creator’s Instagram post, triggering an automated direct message with a link to the creator’s LTK page featuring product recommendations from that post.

According to a recent LTK report, 73% of Gen Z consumers purchase based on creator recommendations, compared to 66% of Millennials and 59% of the general population. The study indicates that LTK shoppers, particularly, are highly responsive to creator influence.
