New Platform Visible Things Targets Algorithm-Dependent Creators With Direct-To-Fan Infrastructure

TV executives Billy Cooper, Andrew Greenberger, and Willis Robertson have launched Visible Things, a technology platform designed to help talent and brands build direct, monetizable relationships with their audiences outside of third-party social platforms.

Visible Things centralizes content, community, commerce, and first-party data into a single owned ecosystem. The platform targets traditional celebrities, digitally native creators, and brands seeking to reduce dependence on algorithm-driven distribution. Talent agency WME will represent Visible Things as it expands its roster of talent and brand partners.

Cooper, a television executive producer with credits including “American Idol” and “Little People, Big World,” serves as CEO. Greenberger serves as Chief Content Officer, overseeing creative strategy and partner collaborations. Robertson serves as Chief Operating Officer, focused on strategic partnerships and ecosystem development.

“For decades, talent has been asked to build audiences on platforms they don’t own, with business models that can change overnight,” Cooper, Greenberger, and Robertson said in a joint statement. “Visible Things was built to give celebrities and creators the infrastructure to power their own businesses and take back control of their libraries, their community, and their fan relationships.”

Flagship Launch Partner

Visible Things debuts with actress and entrepreneur Valerie Bertinelli as its first talent partner. Bertinelli’s app, Valerie’s Place, is available now on the App Store and Google Play, with a tiered subscription model. According to the announcement, Bertinelli’s pre-launch campaign generated tens of thousands of sign-ups within the first week.

“My relationship with my fans has always meant everything to me,” Bertinelli said. “This platform gives me the freedom to do that, and to bring my fans along with me in a way that feels real and personal.”

Content Offering

Valerie’s Place launches with four shows:

  • “Reheated: Valerie’s Home Cooking” – revisits past episodes with new commentary and behind-the-scenes context.
  • “Now Val’s Cooking” – features original recipes.
  • “Now We’re Cooking” – a live interactive cooking format for paying members.
  • “Meals for One” – focuses on single-serving recipes.

Additional programming scheduled for mid-March includes “Getting Naked: The Podcast” and “Superfan Supper Club,” a live format in which select top-tier subscribers join Bertinelli on camera. “Val’s Book Club” is scheduled to debut in late April.

Advisory and Strategic Backing

Visible Things’ advisory board includes Boardwalk Pictures founder and CEO Andrew Fried, former WME board member Mark Itkin, Voldex Head of Franchise Katelynn Duffel Heil, and New AMS Capital Managing Partner Freddy Boom.

“Billy, Willis, and Andrew have identified a meaningful opportunity in the superfandom economy,” Itkin said, noting the platform sits “at the intersection of content, community, and commerce.”
