HappyNest Entertainment Expands Kids & Family Slate With Space Camp, R.L. Stine, and Louie and Bear Franchises

HappyNest Entertainment announced an expanded development slate, adding the Space Camp brand, a project based on R.L. Stine’s audio podcast “Story Club,” and the graphic novel series Louie and Bear in the Land of Anything Goes. The properties are in early development across film, television, digital, gaming, and other franchise formats.

The slate builds on HappyNest’s earlier work with “Paris & Pups,” the animated series inspired by Paris Hilton and her dogs, developed with Hilton’s 11:11 Media and 9 Story Media Group. That series debuted on Hilton’s YouTube channel in September 2025, has drawn more than a hundred million views, and has since landed toy and publishing deals with Playmates Toys and Scholastic. A book series and consumer products tied to “Paris & Pups” are set to roll out in fall 2026.

“Kids and family audiences today engage with stories very differently than they did even just a decade ago,” said Philip Fier of HappyNest Entertainment. “We develop franchises with that reality in mind, creating IP that can live across platforms, categories, and experiences from day one.”

The Space Camp project will draw on the youth STEM brand rooted in NASA astronaut training, built around themes of teamwork, leadership, and space exploration. Brenda Perez, CEO and CFO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Home of Space Camp, said the partnership arrives as the organization launches its Inspiration4 Skills Training Complex, a new facility for astronaut and pilot simulation training.

The R.L. Stine project follows HappyNest’s investment in GoKidGo and will adapt “Story Club,” a podcast HappyNest describes as the first piece of original Stine IP that did not originate as a book, into publishing and other formats. Louie and Bear in the Land of Anything Goes will expand from a graphic novel into a character-driven franchise with plans for digital and gaming platforms.

HappyNest also disclosed additions to its leadership team. CEO Philip Fier previously held senior finance and strategy roles at Fox International and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Co-founder and EVP of Business Development and Operations, Anna Berthold-Zuk, was formerly a Motion Picture Literary agent at United Talent Agency, where she led UTA Animation. SVP of Development and Production Jamie Piekarz previously served as Head of Preschool at Apple TV+, overseeing series including “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!,” “Sago Mini Friends,” and “Duck & Goose.” Executive Director of Development Derek Switaj worked on the Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special, which premiered on Prime Video in December 2025.

The company said it has also built franchise partnerships with Walmart, Amazon, Moonbug, and Chuck E. Cheese.
