Chipotle Puts YouTuber Salish Matter’s Order on the Menu in Gen Alpha Push

Chipotle Mexican Grill has introduced a limited-time “Salish Matter Order,” built around the Kid’s Cheese Quesadilla, which 16-year-old content creator Salish Matter says she orders on every visit. The item, available exclusively through the Chipotle app and website, marks the chain’s first creator spotlight on a Kid’s Meal and makes Matter the youngest creator to have a digital menu item at Chipotle.

The order pairs the quesadilla with white rice, black beans and guacamole, along with kid’s chips and chocolate milk. Matter is promoting the launch on Instagram, and Chipotle is featuring her and the order on menu boards across Los Angeles and Orange County, California, where she grew up.

“I get Chipotle basically every day, and I never switch up my order,” Matter said in a news release. “Being the youngest creator to have my order on the Chipotle menu is honestly such a big moment for me because I’ve genuinely loved Chipotle for years.”

Until September 4, fans who post a photo of their Salish Matter Order on Instagram using the hashtag #SalishxChipotle can enter to win a trip to Los Angeles that includes lunch and content creation with Matter, along with merchandise from Chipotle and Sincerely Yours (the skincare brand for teens and tweens that Matter co-founded).

A Bet on Family Dining Influence

Chipotle framed the tie-up as a response to Gen Alpha‘s growing sway over household food choices. Citing Datassential research from February, the company said Gen Alpha children develop strong preferences for restaurant brands early and that 75% of the cohort show interest in learning about the food they eat. Separate data from HarrisX and Allison Worldwide, cited by Marketing Dive, found that 91% of surveyed parents say their Gen Alpha children influence the family’s brand preferences, with teen girls driving purchasing decisions at a higher rate than boys.

“Authenticity matters when connecting with Gen Alpha, and Salish’s genuine connection to Chipotle made this collaboration a natural fit,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s SVP of Brand Marketing.

Matter has built her following alongside her father, photographer Jordan Matter, on a YouTube channel with more than 37 million subscribers. The pair signed a multiplatform content deal with Netflix in February covering scripted, unscripted and animated series starring Salish, in addition to consumer products and experiential ventures. She was also named to the 2026 TIME100 Creators list and holds two Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

The Chipotle deal extends a celebrity-order playbook the chain has previously run with Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus, according to Marketing Dive, and arrives as Chipotle works to rebuild sales momentum: same-store sales rose 2.2% in Q2 2026, its best performance since late 2024.
