Digital Content Studio Theorist Partners With Creator Tech Startup Uscreen to Launch Fan Membership Platform
Theorist, a Raleigh and Los Angeles-based digital production studio, has launched TheoryVerse, a fan society and membership platform developed in partnership with Uscreen, a video membership technology company that raised $150 million in growth funding from PSG Equity in February 2025.
TheoryVerse offers three membership tiers:
- The free Theorist Apprentice tier includes access to monthly videos and a weekly newsletter.
- The Armchair Theorist tier, priced at $6 per month, provides ad-free viewing, exclusive shows, private Discord access, and AMA replays.
- The Theory Crafter tier, at $12 per month, adds behind-the-scenes content, community voting, live event perks, merchandise discounts, and fan recognition opportunities.
Theorist will offer a Founders Rate on annual memberships to early Tier 2 subscribers during the platform’s first week.
“Our audience has never just passively watched – they actively engage and theorize with us,” said Gwen Miller, Senior Director of Strategy and Operations at Theorist. “With TheoryVerse, we’re creating a space where our audience can go even deeper and connect more authentically with the Theorist team and community.”
Exclusive Programming
TheoryVerse launches with five original series:
- “TheoryVerse Exclusives”: premium episodes covering topics outside the scope of YouTube;
- “Just a Theory”: a game show featuring trivia and guest appearances;
- “Amy Plays”: a comedic series following Style Theory host Amy Roberts;
- “Dead Wrong”: a competitive debate format with consequences for the losing team member;
- “Insider Theory”: a behind-the-scenes series revisiting fan-favorite episodes.
“Everything we make at Theorist starts with the audience,” said Roberts, who also serves as project lead on the exclusive programming. “TheoryVerse finally gives us a space to get more creative together.”
